The Catch 22 of trying to go pro as a content creator is do you put the camera away to 100% focus on it or do you just make content playing mediocre up and down golf? Micah is very talented, he hits some amazing shots (his 2nd shot on #1, day 2, for example) but the consistency isn't there. Golf is hard enough as is so adding camera work only adds to it imo. Maybe less talking to a camera may help his scores but then there's no content to show off… Like I said, Catch 22.

Either way, I enjoy watching him play… the Baniff series was awesome.

Ready to see him play some more forgiving clubs. Mallet, and at least p770s like Grant. He would play better making the game more enjoyable. Not always playing through adversity as much.

Some solid golf here. A lot of strokes left on the greens and a ton of burnt edges. Not putting badly but could definitely be dialed in to get a few more of those to fall, which adds up over 36 holes. Have you thought about a putter lesson – and I’d love it to be a video so that we can all take the tips on it because I need it more than anyone.

Micah, a lot of people see the same. Your mind is too occupied with perfection and results. That's blocking your game. I too, like you love the game and it's with me everyday. I'm injured right now and can't play and we'll see when it gets better. But for you, Tig, you need to just focus on having fun when you play in tournaments but still focus on each and every shot. Don't think results just on the shot that you're going to execute. So, I tell you this: I'm pretty accurate on line with my putter but as soon as I start to think too much about everything like grip, set up, taking it back correctly, things never go well. But when I just set up correctly and think of a natural and relaxed stroke, then I hit it well. So, be "natural". You know how to hit golf shots but a lot of your faults are created by your mind. Don't try to be too perfect…… You're a nice guy but only prove things for yourself. The outside world means absolutely nothing. Tiger Woods is a real good example of this….. Good luck, Tig and never give up. I'm your brother in arms there because golf is 100% in my heart.

Man i really want to see you do good but to be honest off the tee and your shots into the green there all over the place need to fix that and find some consistency your too good to not be good if that makes sense!

It could be my own preference and other people might love it; however, when you finish a round and you show the scores, could you not have that scene with the music playing? It's a bit much doing that 18, or 36 times a video lol. Put it on the side, corner, w/e. Gracias! Love the tournament vids sir.

Take away complex thoughts about success and the things that tie into success (golf related) …the pride that some of us have with being a great golfer and the want to be a great feeds into our ego. The ego needs power to thrive and if we don’t complete our task or shoot a good score.. the ego fails and we feel worthless. So if we make golf somewhat meaningless & simply for the fact that we love getting the chance to hit a little ball 60-70 times a round (for us good golfers pushing high lvls) we will then take away potential anxiety from “losing”
It just makes getting better more simple because we are even keel with our thoughts and actions WE ARE SET ON WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE WANT
Side note: Strong self belief is also a plus! That comes from the work and ded you put in

As an old man who can’t hit it far off the tee, if I were you I’d be pounding that ball off every single tee that I could. I know you want to win but just have fun, determine your yardages and just step up and hit it. You seriously have to stop thinking all the time. Love the videos!

Micah, I love your stuff buddy, but man do you suck at putting. Put a line on your ball and line it up to your intended line… It will only help you…

I am no way close to your game but I see somethings as an outsider.
All the putts that you barely missed in round 1 were not going by the whole by atleast 2 feet(hence the nesr misses)
On 18th in the first round, I have seen pros talking about shaping it away from hazard. Your natural shot shape is draw and with water left, that was not the right call.
I really want you to play well and rooting for you my friend.. love the content and the channel. You were the heart of good good for me..

I think over the 36 holes of golf, Micah made about 50 feet of putts.

+4, I would have been +24. Try to go over your mistakes and improve from there. I watched the Creator Classic golf tournament, and you missed the playoff by 1 stroke if I am not mistaken? You were on the leader board all day and you finished at even par, correct? The Creator Classic was fun to watch but was not evenly distributed on covering all the golfers. I, maybe saw 4 or 5 of your shots, and it wasn't just you slighted on the coverage. anyway, good job by your brother-in-law and give your wife some airtime for being there and supporting you.

Tig, I don't know if you will see this since the video was dropped over a month ago. We just started a new water filter company for the backcountry. We spend days and weeks on the trails. The water in the mountains isn't as good as one might think. It's better than waters around cities with industrial plants, but you can still get some nasty stuff. Lol. We need to sponsor you.
