In this video we take on one of the most iconic and difficult golf courses in the world — the legendary West Course at Winged Foot Golf Club. As an 8 handicap golfer, I wanted to see how my game would actually hold up on a course known for punishing every mistake, demanding precision on every shot, and featuring some of the toughest greens in golf. From nervous opening tee shots and brutal three putts to scrambling for bogeys and trying to avoid big numbers, this round became a true test of course management, mental toughness, and patience. Along the way we also get an early look at the brand new USGA GHIN app and test some of its upcoming features including GPS yardages, green heat maps, stat tracking, and digital scorekeeping. With cold temperatures, heavy wind, elevated greens, deep bunkers, and classic Winged Foot difficulty, this was an unforgettable bucket list golf experience.
