This was so insightful and my head exploded with excitement with how instantly I felt under control in all areas of my game
Brilliant video 🙌🏼🙌🏼
So very helpful definitely lots to think about
Being from Canada, Moe Norman and the stories of him striking the ball exactly where he wanted it are legendary.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That was a simple but amazingly effective golf lesson it made so much sense 👍
I hit into a net in the back garden it’s only about 10/15ft in front of me and I flush it almost every time , go out on the course and I can literally do 18 holes and flush 3/4 times the hole round , the net is acting like the channel, I’ll be trying this method next round
Great advice Carl.ill definitely try this
Great information!
This was a great video. Thank you
Golf is such a mental game. Sometimes a round can feel like you are playing two games, the course and your own mind. These tips can literally put you in the best frame of mind to go out and play the best golf you can but more importantly, simplify the swing thoughts. Definitely will be trying these out on the course
The power of positive thinking! Thanks Alex! 👍
Brilliant video Alex, I use The Mind Caddie and listen to Karl’s podcast, both are brilliant , looking forward to more 👍
Brilliant mental techniques to take to the course. Cheers Alex.
I have no negative thoughts, I enjoy all the shots I hit.
Very very interesting advices and philosophy ! thks for sharing this with us Alex
By the way, still impressed with your level of play Alex, what is or was your best index ?
I'm looking forward to trying this technique on a few holes where (teeing off over water) I feel the shot "gets into my head". Thinking of this simple "chanel or a change of perception of the task" is much more feasible for a positive outcome…TY both 😊
AE. I love your content, but this one was a game changer. Wow. Thank you!
👏👏👏👏👍💪💯
I've always liked using the line to putt. I think it's always a good idea to use a reference for alignment, and this is one that you can manipulate yourself. Primarily, though, the line just removes any concern about aiming the putt and allows me to focus only on speed.
Enjoyed this one.
A lot of good stuff in this content. Going to have to keep, watch a few times and implement ideas over time to give them a proper run to see if they work for me. Think the driving one is a good one to start with. Interesting and something a bit different 👍🏼
👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏🥰🥰🥰🥰
This is a very important video. As a beginner, the hurdle I have to get over mentally is focusing too much on the outcome of the shot based on the club I'm using. Instead of understanding that if I just swing and concentrate on that mechanic trusting the club to do the work for me. The concepts in this video I'll work to incorporate. Thank you.
Thanks Alex! Fantastic Viedeo!
Fantastic video, and very insightful.
Simple tasks to reduce the stress that all amateur golfers put on themselves, from the driver off the tee, to chipping and of course the dreaded 3 putts.
Hopefully over the next few weeks I can use these tips to help improve my enjoyment of golf and my overall game.
This is absolutely brilliant!! Makes so much sense. I’m so guilty of what he says. Love it.
This is great content, Alex. The mental side of the game is an often overlooked aspect.
I think the worse thing about aiming for me is lining up unconsciously to the tee box. All four guys hit a slice on a hole that has the tee box aiming into the bush. Seen it so many times.
Although Moe Norman did a lot of things right the best thing he did was hit an unfathomable amount of balls. Anyone could do what he did hitting that many balls.
Alex, definitely a lightbulb moment watching this video. I watch your videos religiously and I have successfully employed a number of your instructions. The ones in this video are most definitely going out to the range and course with me. Thanks
liked this advice immensely, and found my self in a lot of the comments, thanks.
What a great video. "Played" on Saturday and was particularly awful on the greens. Stood over 3-4 ft putts and zero confidence. 3 putted so many times I lost count. Just biblically bad. Watched this video last night and total lightbulb moment. Nipped out today and played like a demon. The change in mindset particularly on the greens was incredible. I didnt 3 putt at all, I sank a 15 footer for birdie and dropped a couple of 10 footers for par. Chipping was great too – made really solid contacts on every chip. Drove so well as well – especially on a few of the holes where trouble awaits ….. Have bookmarked this for future reminders. Best golf video I've watched
Absolutely top drawer video. Love Karl and regularly listen to the mind caddie podcast. He’s such a brilliant mind. Awesome to see him joining you here!
Great tip just aim 40 yards ahead- thanks guys.
Lee trevino tells a great story of walking along the range at the canadian open one year. He stopped behind moe and watched him hit driver after driver and every ball was hitting the 260 yard sign. Keep in mind that was with persimmon woods with steel shafts. Lee says, moe that's incredible, I just watched you hit 15 drives in a row all hit the 260 yard sign. Moe says, no, the balls all hit the 0 on the sign. WOW !!!
Thanks. Karl is awesome with his simplicity approach to playing
But, doea thar stop you slicing?
