The back shoulder dropping in the downswing has confused golfers for years. After all it makes sense that you start on a certain tilt you should be on that tilt when you hit the ball. Sure, logically it may make sense but a golf swing is in motion. You should be firing your lower body as you hit the ball. When you do, it creates more tilt with all clubs.

To see it just watch pros on TV. You will see every pro tilt more with every club. If they are getting this shoulder tilt in the downswing you should be trying to get it too. If so, your club will attack from the inside instead of swinging over the top.

Pay close attention as you watch this tip. I know most golfers aren’t able to fire the lower body like pros so I show you how to manually tilt in the downswing so you can get this angle in your swing and hit the golf ball longer and straighter.
