Thats a lot of wind. Well done!
Congrats to Minjee! But man, Absolutely terrible course…0 appeal on TV
Who wants to watch an event in a crap location with crap weather? If an amateur is a 10, he couldn’t break 100 on this course. The PGA wasted the dues of its members by putting its headquarters in a hell hole. All that the game of golf accomplished was telling the world that golf in Texas is not a viable activity. Simulator golf is the best option there. That’s the problem with the newfound popularity of Texas. Once you settle in, you realize you are in Texas! Of course they produce so many good players. Juniors don’t know anything different. And then when they get to hospitable conditions, they find the game easy. Winning the majors on both tours is not a test of golf skill. It is a cosmic lottery. The players make enormous money to put up with the farce. What do they care? Why don’t we have archery events with 30mph cross winds? The judges would be killed by errant arrows.
