Thanks so much for the tips. I started playing golf this year (playing The Belfry wasn’t the best call!) off 48 and am now off 24 just 6 months later. I’m lucky that I get to practice or play every other day but I wouldn’t have improved without your advice.
Been playing golf for nearly 30 years. This video is a great reminder of what to focus on. Brilliant in its simplicity.
What happened to your thumb Andy? 😅
This is excellent! I've been playing for 25 years and I'm starting over this weekend. I'm switching to to the left side for one year as an experiment and this lesson is where I will start! Thank you!
Super helpful and I really enjoy your content. One thing I’d love to see covered that I can’t seem to find anywhere on YouTube is what is happening in your takeaway with the club in relation to your wrist. What I mean is that I sometimes feel like I’m loosening my grip and the club is kind of waggling in my hand whereas I feel like it’s gotta be at the 90 degree angle and you’re not actually letting the club move any more past that, it seems like you are but it’s more so the turn that is giving that impression. I just feel like getting lazy with the wrists is causing me to miss on the way down more often than it should and just a solid video with a real focus around the wrist in every aspect of your swing would be super helpful. I know about the wrist flexion but it just seems like the nitty gritty is being lost somewhere and a definitive wrist guide would be great.
