Lake Michigan is big enough to generate some local weather. Mornngs might be calm, but on sunny days the gound inland heats up, the air close to the ground absorbs some of that heat, and the heated air rises. Cooler air above the lake rushes in to replace the rising air. Arcadia Bluffs is typically played in at leat half a round of windy weather, unless you can tee off at sunrise..
No sharks. But there is a huge sport fishing industry in the area, with lake trout and king salmon weighing as much as 65 lbs. Apart from the great fishing, you can't really vacation well in Michigan without getting in a boat and enjoying the lakes.

Tig I think your tendency is to overthink and get too granular. When you’re approaching your shot try to keep it more simple – get your yardage, visualize the shot, commit to it.

I think the Bull shark is the only dangerous shark that can tolerate fresh water for any amount of time. It's too far from the ocean for them to make it the lake. These lakes are amazing, They claim the 3 gorges dam in China altered the earths rotation when it filled with 10 trillion gallons of water. Lake Superior holds 3 quadrillion gallons of water. That is 300 times as much. For those of you who think, "who cares?" Micah, that's who.
