Chip Shot: When the ball travels on the ground longer and will have more roll out
Pitch Shot: When the ball travels longer in the air, usually going a longer distance with more spin.
Lob Shot: When the ball travel high in the air and travels a shot distance with a lot of spin.

I like the referencing of the upper body for ball position. Other benefit of you having that clubface so open is that it givens you the forgiveness of the bounce of the club.
