I can chip like a champ with left arm only…I can chip like a champ with right hand only…..I put both hands on the club…thin and chunk…..so frustrating
I’m a scratch, lifelong player but I get chipping tips ONLY when playing competitively. When practicing, it goes away. I have been chipping cross handed under pressure and it helps.
Hahahh
Joke
Focus on the noise…
Anyone else putting that shot all day long? I know I am.
No fricking way he’s a 4 with that 1st chip !
This guy is easily hands down the best teacher in the world
I looked like a pro I was a scratch golfer who sprayed it everywhere but hit 325 and scrambled like crazy . I've only went o e ti.e with this man's teachings and 20 people said how are you doing that
This man better be making 225,000 a year at the course
He’s done extremely well to obtain a hcap of 4 with a chipping action like that. He should be scratch now
Hi dan where can I get you book from the left hand version
Hi Dan,I have had a chipping yips for 20 years, got down to 2.9 ,my practice game is great, but when the shot matters ie out on the course my head space is dreadful, can I fix the yips,or if it’s anxiety like I know it ,don’t think any matter of practice would help,in the bad moments I have it all, chilly dipping, electric shock type action,ps I,am now 64 years old and play off 13.lost cause I think 😁
Im a 5hcp ive taught ny new golfer GF to chip=putt like this But im fighting the chip yips at the moment, hybrid is saving me why cant i just do what i show her doh
Dan, you are awesome. I struggled with this for months. After watching your lesson, I went out and implemented your tips with great results and a new mental reset so that the prior triggers did not appear. Focusing on the sound, softer hands , and body rotation were better mechanics and a new brain pathway engineered for success. Thanks!
Dan grieve class act me and my brother are onit like a car bonnet
great session, very nice golf course
That guy in the video is identical to me. Love the coaching tips from Dan he is a genius of the short game.
Thank you Dan.
Drop and turn to beat the yips, Dan,holy grail?!
This is me too. Could chip to tap in distance from anywhere until a year ago. Just lost it!
I have exactly the same problem as Ben.
Total loss of confidence around the green especially in competitions.
I watched the video yesterday and managed 5 out of 8 up and downs in today’s Stableford just by doing the low take away and soft grip.
Couldn’t of dreamed of that many before.
Thank you so much.Dan you’re a genius.
I have no problem with the chipping yips when practicing. I can hit it low with spin, soft high shots on command. Once on the course I can’t draw it back. So, it’s not lack of technique, it’s a mental glitch. I’ve found anyone that can teach me how to get over the mental part. Hogan had the putting yips in the later part of his career and he finally had to retire because he couldn’t beat it. It’s maddening!!
