Hi I’m Matt Lockey, welcome to my Coach Lockey YouTube Channel. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, and to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf course vlogs, golf challenges, golf tips, golf lessons, golf club reviews and the odd golf club unboxing. So pretty much everything golf!

I want to help you play better golf by providing coaching videos on all topics about golf. How to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
As well as helping you produce the best long game you can have, I will help you lower your scores by chipping better, stopping duff and thin chips, pitching the ball closer and creating backspin like the tour pros. Finally, I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts too!

Thanks Matt. Maybe you can answer my questions that no one else has.
How does the ball know whether it is struck by a four iron swept or a 7 iron with the face leant forward?
And what the heck is compression anyway. Again, if struck out of the middle won't the ball compress the same – based on the component of the speed in the direction of the path?
Yes know that the pros technique is better, coz it works, but why?
Is it because hands ahead of the ball provides better speed and clubface control? What's the physics of it all?
    Confused, Phil.

Love this drill coach 👍🏻. I’m not going to look strange now walking around with a bottle of water doing this everywhere 😂

Just don’t do this in a competition as it will be classed as a training aid and you will get a penalty

Not sure about that one, al that drill is going to for majority is flatten their back swing which is a fault they may not have?

That slow motion video of you in the rain with the water bottle was pretty cool… It’s as if the drill was made for English weather. LOL. Great drill Coach! Love it…

Thank you for this one — It feels like a version of 'No Turn Cast' with a prop. Please recycle!

Wow!! Tried it. Will take some practice to get the timing but it is crazy how well it works. Did it at slow speed but so much better feeling. Just have to trust the different (better) feeling!!

Is that the bushnell launch monitor? Does it work as well as its big brothers? I'm in the market for one.

I'm new to golf and trying to learn. Would the downswing feeling be like playing baseball with a tilt? That's where I would feel more powerful..hope that makes sense.

Brilliant! Nothing is better that water bottle of yours to illustrate trial hand wrist to compress the ball. Great work Coach. You put in a lot of teaching thoughts in each of lesson presentations.

This is an old video, but OMG this is a game-changer. I've gone from a 15 hcap to 8.0 in 3 months of using this as my swing thought. Driving it so much straighter, and my iron flight (combined with the face pointing down early at the golf ball behind the actual ball drill) is much more consistent. Thanks, coach.
