I’m a fan of incorporating teaching into my fittings, in fact I think with many amateurs it’s essential. For any golfer to be successful on the course we need to have a basic understanding of how to change start lines and curvature when playing, these fittings arm the golfers with those tools and work a set of clubs to enhance the skills and not work against their progression.
Notice how I fit for where the player is going not where they are today.
There is so much great information in these fitting videos, not every fitting plays out the way a tour session might but I believe it gives you an insight into what I feel should be part of a top level fitting.
