I did the exact opposite of this, this year, and split my handicap in half, down to a 4. Figuring out that my lead wrist was heavily cupped (lazy) at impact, causing random slices. Focused on nothing but keeping my wrist flat in the backswing, and almost bowed in the downswing. Playing the best golf of my life right now.
