Joaquin is DEFINITELY top ten in the world.

I watched HG2 and was disinterested after 20-30 minutes. Way too many cameos, seemed too forced and Sandler needed more writing guardrails! One star out of ten, and I’m disappointed that’s the case!

Am i in the minority in thinking that Full Swing is an awesome documentary and goes way deep inside the tour?

Can’t they find any new actors niemann sucks

…the difference between JN and the rest of the "top 10" is that when he plays against the best, his results suck. The PGA Tour players always play against the best.

Too bad they can’t make good movies anymore (bad actors and worse directors)

Yeah Joaquin is top 10 for sure. He just has mental hurdles in the majors

Thanks rex now I know not to go searching that apple app too much. Searching for artsy farts stuff what is wrong with you?
Lav ironically that voice is exactly what you sound like when you complain; with a hint of your boy Lynch.
But now both of you sound like the get off my lawn guy. The movie was fun. We watched it with family and friends and everyone had a good time.
    Isn’t that the whole point?

Are we still trying to educate Lynch on golfers?
A top 10 in a major is a fantastic accomplishment btw especially at 26. There are only 4o of those a year.
The Liv courses are absolutely fine. I would say they are more challenging than the pga tour.

Actually after Hapoy 2 we did transition to Stick and ended up watching 5 episodes and my buddy who usually loves to hate on golf a little needed up finished the season after we left.
A mask sent him Bryson and Sandler break 5o which now I would not be sorrowed if he watched it.
So all and all Sandler and Bryson and Owen Wilson of all people are helping me grow the game a little bit
So I should not hate on Apple TV.
But still searching for artsy fartsy stuff is still wrong as a corporate official getting a sponsor exemption (that said it could motivate employees if they can look past the embarrassment).

Did you know that JT is worse in the majors over the past 2 seasons than Niemann (0.59 vs 1.13 sg per round)? And yet he's #4 in the world.

Niemann is easily a top 10 golfer but on the other hand the data golf rankings have Fleetwood at number 5 in the world. There's just no chance he's near that.

#askLav It came out that LIV golf next season has raised the team prize money from 25 M to 30M. What are their thoughts on it? Do they think it will make those players whose contracts are up at the end of next season stay?

Hardly a great debate, 1 comment from Rahm. We wont know if hes top 10 because he fucked off to liv. Im sure hes crying into his millions tho about it

Rex moving the goal post. Great on you checking him on that Lav.

The point Rex deliberately misses is that Niemann has won 5 tournaments against high quality players. Yes…the field isnt numerically as deep, but for quality it's fairly comparable to your lower to lower middle of the road PGAT events. And had a PGAT player won five TPC Craig Ranch course tournaments in a year, his praises would be sung forever.

Joaquin is 7-4 against Bryson on LIV this year. He's won 5 times, Bryson and Rahm have combined for 1 win. Definitely top ten

HG2 not funny. Niemann Top 10. Lav loves BBQ, needs nothing else. Great pod.

It's obvious the world rankings are more 'name' driven and a career ranking. But when talking about this 2025 season, use Xander or Ludvig Aberg for example when comparing Joaquin Niemann to the rest of the world. I think this season he's ranked 3rd off his performances behind Scottie and Rory.

LIV is a snapshot in time of golf five years ago. Golf has moved on.

HG2 was terrible. Full stop. They needed more on course stuff with the tour players in their element. They needed more with Will Z. Too much on his alcoholism. The story could have had so much more with Shooter.

I more agree with rex, 6.6 out of 10, but also laughed many times through the movie. Decently nostalgic, with some funny cameos. Could have made it much better with drew carey heckling happy like bob barker did, not sure why joel-osmond was in the movie.. extreme stretch, didn’t like the character even as an antagonist. Weird vibes in a lot of scenes I thought were unnecessary, but there were a lot of positives as well. The fact that rotten tomatoes rated this movie higher than the original just solidifies my opinion that rotten tomatoes is a trash rating organization that is often extremely incorrect.

Exemptions aren’t fair but eyeballs are money. The TOUR isn’t going to relegate people like Fowler and Speith who bring in the dollars, nor do the sponsors want them too. I’m surprised they’re not trotting JD out there barefoot.
