The biggest prize of the PGA TOUR season is once again up for grabs. The TOUR Championship features the top 30 golfers from the FedExCup standings in 2025, and just getting a spot in the field means a player has an equal chance to win this year’s FedExCup, with everyone back to starting at even par come Thursday. The field is led by World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, who became the first golfer since Tiger Woods in 2006-07 to win five or more times in back-to-back seasons. Rory McIlroy returns to a course which fits his eye in East Lake Golf Club. The Northern Irishman has nine top-10 finishes in 11 starts in Atlanta and has won the FedExCup three times – the only golfer in PGA TOUR history to pull off such an accomplishment. Accompanying these two is the World No.3 and fellow Major winner in 2025, J.J. Spaun, who is making his TOUR Championship debut. The star-studded line-up doesn’t end there, as fan-favorites Ludvig Åberg, Viktor Hovland, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, and Hideki Matsuyama are also teeing it up as part of the top-30 field.

Whoever chooses the players to be on the highlights has zero clue on what they are doing. Barely any mention of Tommy

MOVE THE PLAYERS TO THIS EVENT. Make the PLAYERS compete. This entire endeavor was for profit not for players or fans. (Clearly you have trouble with the later) Be better than money. Clearly you are not…. but what if you tried. Also…..What if the fans put up money for the Players to happen at the end of season? What if you actually asked the people you force feed legacy programming to what we want? What if….

Scoring average 66. What kind of PGA championship allows that to happen? I get it. It’s soft conditions. But then they move the tees up? What? Crazy. Not cool

Agree these highlights generally are barely watchable. It's like a tossed salad of random images of the day.

Tommy Fleetwoods mental work, on and off the course, should be documentated… What is going on in his mind?

How can an organisation as big as the PGA have such a god damn awful production team? How hard can it be to show the highlights in the order they happened? Pathetic every time

One of the Golf Channel commentators gave a wild card take of "Tommy gets his first PGA Tour win at the Tour Championship," and I jumped right on board. He is good enough to win; he just needs to cross the finish line. Let's go! Tommy

"You know why the Yankees always win, Frank? 'Cause they have Mickey Mantle? No, it's 'cause the other teams can't stop staring at those damn pinstripes". Tommy Lad keep the pinstripes.

golf is so boring. just a putting contest. all drives go 300 – 350 yards, wedges go 150. a 500 yard hole is a drive and a wedge. anyone in a green side bunker comes out within 3 feet of the hole 99% of the time. And if you hit into a greenside bunker the ball always rolls down to a flat lie. same with fairway bunkers. and they have books that describe the hole perfect. exact yardage to the inch. know all grains of grass on green. in a word, golf is boring
