The PGA TOUR heads back to Houston this week for the Texas Children’s Houston Open at Memorial Park Golf Course where Tony Finau returns to defend his title. The American has been inconsistent in 2024 but he’s still recorded a T6 among three top-20s in his last six starts. He also holds a course-record-tying 62 from the second round in 2022. FedExCup and World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler returns to action after his dramatic win at THE PLAYERS Championship two weeks ago. Scheffler has won two events in a row this season on the PGA TOUR (Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard prior to his triumph at TPC Sawgrass) and has not finished outside the top 20 in any event this season. He’s looking to become the first golfer to win three-straight events on the PGA TOUR since 2017. Wyndham Clark will also be teeing it up in Texas. The only golfer who has beaten him in his last two starts is the current World No. 1. Clark also won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier in 2024 and claimed 16th at Memorial Park in 2022. Others to look out for are Jason Day, Will Zalatoris and Valspar Championship winner Peter Malnati.

It’s crazy, Scottie is more shallow at the top of his swing

All that matters is that Scottie lost…after that I don’t care
    So glad he didn’t win!!

Scottie is clutch like always, and congratulations to the winner! Beating world number one is always a feat.

Hats off to Scottie, but moments like this just show how great Tiger was. Clutchness is something that every one of the greats have, no matter the sport. Either you have it or you don’t.

The last putt for Scotty wasn't a foot and a half. It was more like five feet.

What is the point of showing the hit, then the ball in the air, then the ball on the green. No hole shape shown, no distance shown, no club number, nothing.

That crowd on the 18th was pathetic, what a bunch of sore losers. The honeymoon might be over for shelfers putter. Augusta will test it like no other course.

The scottie like nothing missed the final putt. It's like giving to some of his buddies since he has been winning streak. Hmm..

I love these 'journeyman' first time wins. The ultimate payoff for the many sacrifices and years of grinding. Congrats Stephan 👏. The door is open now …

Scottie gonna sack the mallet and go back to the blade after that miss on the 72nd hole? My own putting is woeful at best, but you’d expect more from the world #1 in that situation. Happy for Jager to get the win with his family at his side.

The most you saw of the foreign contingent was in the last 40 seconds of the highlights. Too much american actuon and not enough of everyone else on the front page of the leaderboard

This is incredible, you figured out how to post the final round highlights without a thumbnail of the winner holding the trophy!
