When you (YT Golf influencers/ instructors etc.) say Fairway Woods, do they mean 3W? Or do they mean 5W, 7W etc. as well?
I couldn't hit my 3 wood so well or consistently. I got a 5W and that I hit waaaay better. And I have tried 7W of someone else, it's even better. So I guess, it's not the same broad brush of "Fairway Woods", or is it?

Question for the experts out there. Tommy chokes down on his clubs quite a bit more than most other player's. I understand the reason being more control and awareness of the club position , but for non professionals, would you lose significant distance if you shortened the length of the club by choking down?⛳
Always staggered by the control these players have. You really start to appreciate just how much time they dedicate to their profession. And what a gentleman Tommy is. Outstanding Ryder Cup performance too under extreme pressure.

people think 9 woods are a new thing haha…i have a vintage late 70s set of cobra baffler 9, 7 and 5 woods that have these ridges along the bottom to stop it from digging in…persimmon and brass plates …space age for the time, or any time really!!
