Video Description
Brixton Albert has gamed the same putter for 20 years. The same trusty Odyssey #7 that’s been worn down round after round. Today, it comes out of the bag for good.
The reason is the Performance Golf RS1, designed by Chief Product Officer Chris McGinley, who’s spent 38 years in the golf industry building equipment for some of the biggest names in the game. The thing that makes the RS1 unlike anything Brixton has putted with comes down to one idea: forward weight. Where most putters carry their mass behind the shaft and fight you by opening the face through the stroke, the RS1 puts 80% of its weight in front of the shaft. Face down, face balanced, and built to track square.
In this video, Chris walks Brixton through every feature stacked into the putter and Brixton rolls it for the first time. The forward weighting, the more upright lie angle printed right on the head, the fat 15 millimeter composite shaft that cuts down twist. It all adds up to one feeling Brixton can’t stop talking about: the ball coming off like it’s running on a train track. The goal was never complicated. Get the face square, roll it straight, and make more putts.
