The Drop welcome PGA TOUR CEO Brian Rolapp into the studio for a wide-ranging interview regarding the restructuring of the PGA TOUR’s competitive model that was announced a week ago. Rolapp answers all the questions about why the TOUR acted with urgency, how the different tracks will be determined, why the TOUR Championship will be match-play and many other topics stemming from this landmark announcement. Later, we chat with Camilo Villegas, who is one of six players who sits on the Future Competition Committee. Villegas takes us through what it was like to sit on that committee, why it was important to be a sounding board for other players and how he performs his committee tasks with the good of the TOUR in mind even though he is also actively competing to stay in the race.
