Video Description

Carter Smith, the proclaimed DoD King, built a following doing one thing better than anyone on the internet: hitting driver off the deck. But with the Internet Invitational coming up and a million dollars on the line, the DOD King needs more than one shot. He needs a swing he can trust under pressure.

In this session, PG Elite Performance Coach JT Thomas runs Carter through SwingScan on the PG1 app and finds his root flaw: a lack of chest rotation in the backswing. That one flaw was causing five others downstream. Hands too high, sequence out of order, early extension, a flip through impact, and the wild two-way miss that’s been wrecking his scorecards. One turn drill later, Carter’s misses straighten out and the manipulation disappears.

Then they go to the putting green. The exact same root flaw shows up in his stroke, and after one alignment-stick fix and the chopsticks drill, Carter hits the center of the putter face for the first time in years. His words, not ours.

If you’ve ever had seven swing thoughts fighting each other in your head, this is what it looks like to replace all of them with one.
