I literally bought a sim 3 wood this week – being a titleist user was a bit confused about this so this is super timely and useful!

So setting the loft sleeve into Lower both opens the face AND reduces the loft, not either or? So if you on top of that twist the club to achieve a neutral face, the loft would reduce even more?

Thanks for this video Trottie I had no idea I could go all the way around on the loft sleeve. I assume this will work on my Sim2 Max???
    Thanks!

@Trottie, thanks for all the great info. I don’t need help with height or spin but miss right (Slice) can I still benefit from a 9* and loft up? Even though it increases spin?

About time all mfgrs changed the loft sleeve so that loft, lie and face angled can be adjusted whilst still keeping shaft graphics in the same spot.

I like strengthening the loft one click, any other setting makes the weighting / balance feel strange

I am so glad you done this video. I feel like an idiot every time I look at an adjustable Taylormade club. I have the Qi35 Tour 5w that appears to be closed at address. It goes long, and left.

I may be imagining this, but for my ping woods they perform better on the original setting. Seems like the design may be optimized for the stock setting.

I can’t deal with the graphics on the shaft being visible when turned

You speak with confidence & knowledge because you are the GOAT of golf build on YouTube. Couldn’t stand you on the TM video clips with the pros, however watching you on your own channel I’m addicted to liking your videos now ❤

I feel seen as I was looking up Qi35 driver sleave adjustments yesterday. I was fitted for a driver and came away with the 10.5 degree Core head, which I think is set to 1.5 deg closed, +0.75 loft, 3.5 deg up lie angle – it’s certainly given me fantastic launch height, but I am slightly worried it’s too much height and spin. I need to go see my pro to dial it in.

As a guy that fears the left miss….I always listened to the conventional thought that flat lie was better…BUT in my testing, I’ve discovered that a more upright lie leads to much better strikes and no left misses. In summary…. GUYS, test test test and don’t go solely off conventional concepts!!!!!

Thank you T man for yet another banger of a video!

Trottie: I’m a fader/ slicer, I’ve adjusted my 10.5° lie angle and it’s helped heaps, like what you said in the bit of the video . Can I lower the loft but keep my lie angle? Or just lower the tee height?
