All your instruction has been super helpful. Here’s a video idea. How to get back in the swing of things, now that the golf season is back. How to prepare for that first round of the year. Cheers 😊

I was hitting great tee shots today and then bladed every chip I had on crazy fast greens and now I’m here…

I’m definitely in the swing too short group. I’m afraid of thinning it over the green

I practiced everything in this video in my backyard, and the applied it all on the course this past Monday. My chipping is so much better and the thought 'putting with loft' finally gave me the key to chip confidently. Great video that teaches something that really works! Thanks, Danny.

Quick question please Danny (or anyone?!) Grip? Should we be using the putting grip or usual grip? TIA 😊

You are the most valuable person of all my subscriptions. #1 in my list! You have changed my swing and game play like i never imagine possible. I struggled with short distance iron shots, slicing, slice drives and chipping for so many years…… I found you while searching how to get more distance with an iron and stumbled upon your video teaching how to strike down on the ball, position, towl swing, etc. You have transformed my swing to what i only dreamed of for many years. Since then i spent so much time watching many of your other videos. Now, I only search your channel if I want to learn anything else in golf. Thanks a MILLION!!!!

A friend and I have been watching your videos for many months now. We really enjoy them and have learned so much from you. I watched this video yesterday. Today, after kind of blading a shot over the green, I chipped in for a birdie from behind a green, up hill about 3' to the green in about 5" of rough exactly as you describe here. The pin was about 25' down the hill in the middle of the green. It went up in the air so perfect! Landed just on the green and rolled straight down into the hole! It was the most beautiful shot I have hit in my 30 years of golfing. Even better than my only hole in one! I had an audience up on the veranda and they all applauded! My partner had hit a great shot to the green, but sadly missed his birdie putt! Oh well. A great time was had by all and I just wanted to thank you for your great videos!

Very good idea to do this, as you said very relatable. When Leo said, "Well, I'm out," I totally related with that, we would both have been delighted with that shot. 🤣 If you read this, please can you do one about getting out of really gnarly, long ruff.

Danny, this real lesson is extremely helpful. Would you please do a lesson with a female golfer? Many thanks!

Length of the backswing is really important to judging the distance of the shot, then it’s all about tempo, you must have at least 3 practice swings to set the mind, never feel rushed.

    Danny,

you are always to the point. No self advertisements, no unnecessary introduction, etc. We love it. Above all, you keep the audience engaged. Keep that smile going and when I watch your video, I want to run to the range and try those shots. Truly, you are a great coach.

    Keep up the good work.

Hi Danny why aren't you using a putting grip, it doesn't look like a putting grip!

Danny your student was awesome, great video, l struggle with my sixty degree wedge, tend hit with the leading edge, trying to use the bounce. When do you stand closer to the ball and use the toe up method?. You are the best instructor on the planet.

Thank you for sharing this video. I play off an 11 handicap but my chipping had been awful for over a year now. Last weekend I used the techniques you shared here and BOOM suddenly I was chipping really well. I got up and down around the green several times. So happy 😊😊😊😊

Just saw a video by two pros, that strongly felt you should hit the ground first with sole of club, giving much larger room for error on chip shots….very confusing! Your thoughts.

You’ve probably addressed this before but save me some scrolling. Thoughts on using a wood for chipping just off the green? (Think Billy Andrade).

Morning Danny, I’ve watched your chipping videos more than once (so I could remember) then practiced in my backyard. After days of practice I went golfing with my friends and used your advice. I’ve got one word for you, “BRILLIANT”. My buddies were amazed at my new chipping abilities. Thanks so much! John, Canada.
