I explain how putter design has evolved and with that the type of putter you should use has also moved with the times.
The putter is used on every hole, this should be a club that you look to custom fit. All the reasons as to why are outlined right here.

Send us over a 38 inch ZT putter mush. First comment
What is that putter with the blue shaft in it? It has some custom stamps on it and a nice grip, I like the whole package, kind of Newport 2-esque but with a cooler curve to the bottom to my eye.
Are there any SD local golf influencers playing in the SD County Open?
Poor tiger. Loved seeing him putt. Never again…😔
Just got a LA golf p series Soho for my custom carbon steel zero Torque putter
Don’t buy into any of this nonsense. Only “Dummies” think a custom shaft will fix their putting. Marketing and questionable scientific facts are rife in golf.
Just refreshed my 15 year old Scottie.
KBS GPS shaft, large Scottie grip, an inch off the length and heavier weights to make up for the shorter length and larger grip.
Spent ages with a spirit level making sure the blade was perfectly vertical before putting the grip on.
Amazing difference in feel and sound, firmer but not hard.
Initial results, tighter in dispersion especially on long putts.
I think there's too much being robotic. I've tried the kbs GPS and it offers so little feel. I'd be really interested in going old school and getting some feel back in a say a thinner steel shaft type.
Is there any real merit to the "Fluted Feel" shafts like the one in my Spider EX? I can't tell that it makes a difference, but TM surely weren't the first to do it. I have an old Spalding TPM from my dad that has a pencil shaft (~.280" tip), which is also fluted near the bottom. That putter has really great feel so long as you hit the center. I guess no one wants to make a club with a non-standard tip size anymore.
I put a GPS in my Scotty end of last season. I can't quantify if it truly helped me but I can say with certainty that it definitely didn't hurt me… Had my personal best year putting so take that as you will. It's surely a stable shaft and feel is excellent.
