Scheffler likes easy courses against weakened fields, but he struggles on tougher courses vs the strongest fields like the US Open at Pinehurst and the PGA Championship. Also check the pre-US Open videos you uploaded – I did say that Scheffler would struggle and be exposed badly at Pinehurst – it was VERY OBVIOUS because of the focus on putting on turtleback greens and Scheffler not being a great putter…..anyone who picked Scheffler to win at Pinehurst didn't do their research properly or was a prisoner of the moment

Nothing compares to the majors, and this is even more so since Liv started. If i'm honest, the lack of competitive quality and stars in the field to challenge Scottie scheffler is now becoming a bit boring. Scheffler is making hay in the absence of Rahm, Bryson, Cam Smith etc….

Full fields with randos are better

1 or 2 in 8 of the last 10 tournaments. Dominant.

When Tiger did this nobody was asking if it was good, right? Everyone said that it was. In fact, the media lost their minds and portrayed Tiger as the second coming of Christ. However, when it comes to Scottie, I think it's disgusting that he's being held to a different standard. Why the double standard? I wonder..

Both of your proposals aren't great. How about a tournament every week and 170 players.

I really disliked the no cuts and loss of any friday drama—especially for fantasy team league purposes. There needs to be more players, 100? and perhaps even a Monday qualifier? Maybe 10 worst scores can't play in next siggy event?

I’ve heard you guys a few times on Golf Today, but this is the first time I’ve watched your podcast. Great job. ???????????????? However, I kinda wonder if you will ever be pleased with any schedule that the Tour is able to develop. I think your requirements for a “home run” are unrealistic.

BTW, I missed your show following the U.S. OPEN, so I don’t know what you said about the results. I was crushed that Rory lost, and further saddened that DeChambeau won. From my long distance perch watching but never having met the man, he strikes me as being insincere and a phoney. It annoys me that most of the media seems not to recognize that, or feels it can’t say so publicly. I wonder what my man Eamon Lynch would say if asked, perhaps privately? I bet Eamon would call it straight.

Anyhow, now that I’ve watched once, I’ll be watching in the future. Keep on trucking.

Lav…Rahm debuted at Mayacoba not Jeddah. And you guys forgot that Nashville has been one of the fatest growing cities in the country and is also "golf starved" It was the perfect storm for LIV.

The Masters has now become the best test at the highest level of the Majors. In these normal (to Professionals) level golf set ups, the best wins most often, but in other Majors there is a lot of adjustments that must be made, and there is more of a chance for luck to intervene. The US Open set up was really crazy, and Bryson truly deserves credit for what he did, and Rory should have, could have etc…but he also performed. In any normal conditions, Scottie is easily favored, and in difficult/crazy conditions I give him a slight edge.

The quality of your prodcast is much better than watching the analysts on the Golf Channel tv broadcast.

Is it just me or do these two really not like each other? The tension between these guys is palpable. They constantly disagree which is fine but they seem to take it personally when they do.

Signature events should not be immediately before or after Majors. 4 before Masters, 2 before PGA, Memorial. That's it.

Lav now a bomber! Rory beware!

    Great podcast.

Signature events were an utter disaster. Culminating in Rory skipping this week. Try as it might, getting all the players to show support for the PGA tour is impossible.

Links golf is the best and why the Open is number 1 and always will be Troon will be epic, remember last one with Phil and Hendrik. Cookie cutter pgatour courses are boring.

USA open ratings were up 300% on last year, says it all, brilliant tournament, tough, everyone back together, Troon will rock, links golf, hard course, we fans love that type of golf

I really dislike the media’s preoccupation with controversy. I’ll take a Scottie Scheffler any day over the LIV “Bro Golf” episode at the U.S. Open. Great golfer, good human captures my eye all the time.

Stupid having these events in the week before and after the US Open. The field sizes need to be increased and they must have a cut.

If Rory was winning like Scotty is, the amount of fanfare would be a whole lot more than for Scotty… people just don’t celebrate Scotty as much

Good show guys, I cancelled YouTube tv so no more golf channel/thurs Friday rounds. Tho I get more insight from these short segments than any amount of golf channel, and eamons voice gives me bad dreams.

It’s honestly irrelevant golf is golf and the events don’t seem to matter to most quote golf fans. Liv resonates with the casuals because it’s a gong show party atmosphere but the level of golf and courses isn’t always great. The pga tour needs to stop giving a crap what casuals think of it and just go forward.
