Video Description

I changed this students address position and he saw INSTANT improvements with this drier. In this lesson, I gave my student one simple driver tip don’t address out of the middle and it instantly stopped their slice and added consistency off the tee. There are some small tweaks to do this correctly, so the swings in sync!

“Alex, your Build Blueprint for the driver is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I’m finally training the right muscle memory and seeing improvements faster than I ever imagined. Thank you! 🚀 ”

Impact tape helped me better understand where the face was hitting the ball and how I needed to adjust

So I address closer to heel and hit if anything on the toe end of center….

I think the problem with this is that if somebody early extends and they're lining it up more toe side, they'll probably have a toe shank. I think people who line up off the heel are used to the early extension and having it come more off the middle. Instead of having it off the toe and then squatting into it and having it become more centered.

Thanks Alex. I like the idea of lining up on right toe, keeping left foot in place and just moving right foot back.

This more centered ball position and a slightly lower tee has really improved my drives this Summer. Thank you because it really clicked for me!!

Enjoyed the video and confirms my suspicions about my swing. It appears to me that your student has a slight forward shaft lean in his setup which to me would be promoting a downward attack . I set up with a slight backwards shaft lean to promote hitting the ball on the upswing?

Alex can prepare a video with the driver and face tape to explain what causes each (toe, heel, top and bottom). What adjustments we to correct each face hit. Thanks

Club Head inside or a tad bit more helped my tee shots greatly. It does take a some time to adjust after years of being off my left instep or a bit forward of that. This works for both my mini driver as well as my full size driver. I also tee the ball lower, maybe 1/4 of the above the club at address

Would you address an iron out near the toe as well or not given the shorter shaft of an iron has a slightly different swing arch I’d assume?
