I used to play on Wednesday nights with a kid that was 10 years old because his parents didn't know anything about golf and didn't know how to help him learn the game or any of the etiquette. He was always very polite, listened and learned very quickly. His family had to move because of his dad's work and I lost track of him. That dude went from barely being able to get the ball in the air to shooting a consistent 38-41 on every 9 we played. Sometimes we would play 18, sometimes we would work on chipping the entire time. My wife used to come along and drink wine and read a book because she was mesmerized by how dedicated this little dude was to a sport that no one else in his family played. I was friends with his uncle is how I was roped in to the situation.
Now I have twins that are 9 years old, just like the kid in this video, and while they play golf they aren't nearly as dedicated as kids like this or the one I taught before are to honing their craft. Maybe some day they will get there. Maybe they won't.
Either way, Grant keep giving these kids exposure. It is awesome what you are doing.
