The Fastest Way to Improve Your Ball Striking – New Discovery

By: Danny Maude | Duration: 00:12:10

Video Description

Whether you are looking to strike your irons pure or hit driver straight this golf lesson by Danny Maude is incredible. He provides two simple golf tips that makes the golf swing so simple to repeat.

This is why you struggle to strike your irons pure and/or hit driver straight????

1. You are unable to control the radius of your golf swing
2. You don’t have a simple way of controlling the club face at impact

What’s great is if you have any one of these faults in your golf swing they are really easy to fix and can make an instant impact on the quality of your ball striking not just with your irons but with your driver too.

For example if you want to hit your driver straight his simple golf tip on how to square the face at impact is just brilliant. Danny has put the golf swing tips in a practice plan that you can access here ????

ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If it’s a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Just found your channel. Simply the best one out there. Thank you for the clear explanations. Have you done a video on how to choose the right GOLF BALL for ones style, swing speed, etc. So many options out there.

That is huge! I like the fact you're getting us to focus on the face. Often when I strike a ball nicely but it has gone left for some reason, or pushed right, I instantly wonder if I'm too inside or some other mechanic. Club face, that's what I should be concentrating on. Very nice, thanks, Danny!

RADIUS CONTROL what a golfing EPIPHANY. How would you, with this concept, hit a fade or a draw?? Would love your thoughts or maybe discuss this in another weekend video. Danny, you are such a GIFT to all of us who are trying to make this game simpler. Much much thanks!! Jim Rockwell/Seattle, Washington

I’ve been asking people recently for their definition of consistency, you would not believe the wired and wonderful answers. I would say repeating the same thing over and over again.

Many years ago I remember reading in an old Golf Digest article a series of tips by the pro golfers of the day. One that I remember is a tip from Jack Nicklaus in which he says that in a good swing you should "restore that radius". Your video reminded me of Jack's tip. When an 18-time major winner gives a tip it's a good idea to listen!

Biomechanically the easiest way to repeat the radius or circle would be a single plane swing ya?

Danny first of all your lesson of getting out of the bunker that I saw 4 weeks ago by squatting down a bit more, oh my GOD, I kid you not, got my confidence back, and I have been leaving my ball within 2 to 5 feet from the hole. Thank you thank you. Now after watching this video, biggest problem atleast for me is alignment. I tend to forget to get in back of ball and pick a spot 6 inches in front of ball. However, two issues, maybe at 71years young, I have senior moments, how far from ball when strinking irons, and how far down should my hands be. Finally my swing speed is around 82-85 miles per hr. down from 100-105 mph 25 years ago. Made a mistake, maybe, in getting senior shafts on my M4 Taylor irons. I have to give it a chance. Will see.

Looking forward to getting on the range this week and seeing how I get on. I know I overthink/over-analyse and I think this really help me focus on the right way to solve my full swing issues.

got to be the easiest lesson ever so i will try it out because my striking is very inconsistent and not helped by continual fiddling!

This deserves a whole other comment! I've just left a practice sesh at my local pitch 'n' putt, and my smile is as big as Adam's! What I MUST do now, is just focus on this, and the lesson where you talk about difference between pitching and full swinging. But whatever I do, this is now firmly in my mind.

Bonus: It has made me realise when I'm trying to power the club through with just my arms, I didn't realise just how much I was doing that, especially in the ruff. So now when I'm swinging like this, I tell myself to "resist the urge" and I've been making sweet contact. I feel like the more I do this, the more confident I'll get, which in turn will stop me doing the whole anxious 'arm thing'.

I've been a bit down on my luck lately, I've had to sell my clubs and just have my wedges and putter now, along with an old four iron and 5-wood. But this has just made me so happy, thanks Danny, you're a saviour!

Hi Danny, Thats a nice lesson to come back to after a vacation. I haven't played for a while except for hitting a few balls at a simulator at the resort I stayed at. I always look at my stance and direction my club is facing if I spray a shot. The lesson demonstration was a 'Wowza' ???? By the way, I watched your content on a TV channel in Bali. Well done for your international recognition apart from YouTube. Stay well

Being completely serious, took this to the course today and after focusing on what was discussed in the video, I struck my 6 iron 196 yards. Hit a 6 iron 175 uphill. The average golfer hits their 6 iron 140-160.

This is Adam again. As I have said before, Danny never ceases to amaze me and I still say he is the best coach and instructor on the planet. What I enjoy most of these lessons is that Danny not only tells me "what" I am doing wrong, he clarifies "why" I am making a faulty swing. Thanks to all including Laura and Leo.

Danny has three videos that have changed my golfing life. I’m a 17 handicap who can play like a 13 some days and a + 30 others. This video along with his trail arm impact and momentum videos have changed the quality of my ball striking within two sessions. Why do I love this drill? It virtually guarantees clean contact. Seeing it, I thought it was a beginner’s swing that would give me better accuracy at the loss of distance. Instead, I was hitting the ball a club longer immediately!

Hi Danny- thanks for video, really helpful…my question is related to transition into downswing, what is the sequence and what would you recommend. Also, it sounds like this means there shouldn’t be any squat or sitting into left side and losing height? Thanks again. Bernard

Been waiting for a simple swing video as I have been struggling with consistency with all my clubs. Played 9 holes today and only fluffed 1 shot. The simple swing worked on all my clubs and gave me a crisp effortless strike. Came off the course smiling and thoroughly enjoyed it for the first time in ages. Thank you Danny.
