Come along for a never seen before granular look into the step by step process I go through from tip cutting and shaft preparation of the new prototype PGW shaft from KBS through to head type and loft selection.
This fitting covers every angle and starts at the KBSX workshop then transitions into the indoor bay before we finalize ball flight outside at TaylorMade Kingdom facility.
Q instantly loves the shaft and is a great candidate for the profile of this new part. After dialing in the tip cut and length we work on the Qi35 Core V’s the Qi35LS.
Personally I love this process when it comes to fitting by asking the player the right questions about their game then transitioning through build, weight, tipping, length and all the various differentials that impact ball flight. Very Important to know Q is a 2 hcp golfer who last year fell in love with his TaylorMade Mini Driver. Notice the gems in here as to how I work him back into a Qi35 driver, that I can confirm he is crushing after this fitting.
There will be a lot of information to take onboard during the build look out for what I do with Swing Weights, around the 9 minute mark. This step is crucial for all FITR’s and aspiring HITR’s.
