Video Description

Golfers are making a huge mistake with the hinge in their takeaway and don’t realise what impact this has on club face! I see this SO often when teaching all levels of golfers, the best thing about this drill I am going to show you today, is it is a QUICK fix! I show you exactly how to turn and tilt your body in the backswing and when to load the power in the wrists swinging the golf club on plane!

This is a real breakdown that I know makes it easy to know what to do with: 1. The body 2. The wrists & club

I’m a complete rookie golfer, only been playing 6/7 months and so far completely self taught, I seem to be okay with irons and wedges but when it comes to driver I struggle so much, I’m a complete slicer and it really lets me down! Help!! 😢

Great video Alex, do you have a drill, to stop spinning hips too fast, leaving club open and way behind, cheers Matt 👍

If you're taking suggestions, there are countless swing videos on Youtube, I'd like to see more putting and short game lessons. Basically 100 yards in.

hi Alex, love your videos! my game has improved watching them. watching your videos, i hit the driver with greater distance, and now i get one drilled per game, but i get too many bad ones. how do you get consistency with the driver, are there any tips. slow it down? i find letting it go gets better results than trying to control. struggling but any tips on how to get driver consistency would be appreciated

My suggestion would be approach shots into the green. Do you aim for the middle and hope the ball stops on the green, or would aim just before so the ball can roll out? This is aimed 140yds > 100yds.

Second would be short game 100yds in with course management like club selection. We are not pros so the high lofted to land softly is not possible for us high handicapers. This would be awesome thanks.

Hi alex. I have problems with really long putts, either topping them or hitting the ground first. Can you give advice on dealing with the real long putt please

I'd love to see a video about finding your swing tempo. . .I know this can be a bit specific to everyone, but finding out how to have a smooth, effortless (looking) swing is what I've been working on. I find if I try to slow down, I lose strike/low point, and make poor contact. But when it works, I gain distance over a swing where I'm trying to make the ball go a long way. I know it's probably covered in other videos, but I figured it's worth a shot. Thank you!

It's like the old Arnold Palmer tip….at the end of your backswing your lead shoulder should be pointing at the ball

Hi Alex, I think one thing that many amateurs get confused about is this. With the driver we want a slight spine tilt right but with shorter clubs that changes. If you could explain the difference between clubs, it might help a lot of people. Thanks.

Any reason or fix for pulling almost every iron shot? I have had this problem in the past, though I am not sure what causes it or how to prevent it

Alex, a previous video you showed fixed my swing. It was the one where, on the takeaway, the hands firstly point down, then out, then up. It works a treat . If you recall it, can you do another video about it. I believe it would be invaluable to the viewers. Cheers.

Hey Alex! Thanks for putting out great content! I'm applying your lessons and its making me look good on the course with my golf buddies. Can you do a vide on graphite vs steel shaft irons and what clubhead/ball speed is more suitable for graphite vs steel?

I focus on straightening my tight leg causing my rt butt cheek to go behind me. Thats the oerfect pivot for me. All else comes easy after that.
