Use This Incredible Drill To Hit Your Driver Longer

By: Danny Maude | Duration: 00:11:59

Video Description

Imagine if I told you that you could gain 20 accurate yards with a golf swing shorter than your current one…Well in this week’s golf lesson you are going to see how Danny Maude is adding 20, 30, 40 and sometimes 50 yards to golfers in a single session with a super short backswing.

At the start of the video he shows you the two key things you need to know to improve your contact whether that be with your iron swing or driver swing. As he says “there’s no point trying to gain distance if you haven’t first got a consistent strike”

Once you have the strike you will have already gained some yards but then it gets interesting. To get you to hit driverl longer Danny gets you to do it with NO Backswing. The results are crazy. Check it out here ????

ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If it’s a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

That, Danny is one of those lessons that opens doors! Keep the right elbow locked and turn as far as your body allows. I always lift my arms and elbows and that makes me come over the top. ❤

The effect of just tilting the shoulders is enormous.
Combined with the shorter back swing to avoid funny angles and chicken wings is the key for me to get more control over the little white thing.
    Thanks a lot 🙂

Another good vid….Ive found for me a neutral grip and bowing my left wrist has improved my ball striking (only problem is if I turn through shot by coming out of posture I drag it way left )….

Good instructional video. There's an X factor here though that isn't being discussed. 95% of amateurs do not hit it 279 or 285 like you showed there, especially with a half swing. You must have good genetics, twitch muscles etc, possibly built up over decades. I've actually learnt to swing exactly like you describe here as it's the most efficient way for me to hit the ball straight and as far as I can. Average carry is 180. I'm in my 40s, started golf 3 yrs ago, and can't swing any faster. I've tried for the past 18 months.

Very, very important things to learn and remember. For me the key was however to learn how to turn my upper body and not just my hands in the backswing. That clearly improved my consistency and my length. Have a great golfing weekend!

Hi Danny, whenever i am having trouble with my driver, i take the half swing approach, but i tend to snap hook it quite a lot. What is the main reason for this?
    Great video❤

This is the lesson that will increase your enjoyment of the game. What I have found is being attentive to the set up – following Danny’s method that he illustrates superbly here – and then picking two tiny targets works. Tiny target 1 on the horizon where you want the ball to go and then tiny target 2 on the the ball on the tee. The manufacturers helpfully print stuff on the ball to help you with that lads !

Excellent video. I have always had a short back swing but hit the ball straight albeit closer to 200 yards rather than 280. My swing is even shorter than you have shown but I prefer the ball to be in good positions. Thank you for reinforcing in my mind what I know. At some stage a bunker lesson would be great ????. Thanks

Danny, you might need some time to answer this question. If you drive the club back with a force F to get to the BEST backswing position, what ratio do you use for the downswing force to get maximum benefit from that position? Does it feel like the same F? Double at 2F? Treble at 3F? Even more?

Another just in time video from Danny to have the right visuals and feeling to the shots. Walking today. Would prefer not to play cart golf shots. Thank you, sir.

Great video. I returned to golf about 6 months ago and i myself slice the ball a lot. I am definitely going to have try these steps and use a shorter backswing. Keep up the great work ????

Thx, Danny. Can’t wait to try. Is there no lag then at the top with the shorter swing?

Hi Danny. Can't thank you enough for the amazing videos which have really helped me in my game.

Currently having an issue with my grip . At address it's neutral however when I'm about to hit my shot it's all of a sudden weak leading to weak and slice shots.

I Also feel the club move in my grip during my backswing.

Any tips on the above will be appreciated. Thanks Danny ????
