The Drop gets you ready for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, as former PGA TOUR player Matt Every breaks down how the teams are formed, how the players strategize on the course and what the social scene is like while the TOUR is in the Big Easy. Next, we pull back the curtain for what life inside the ropes is like with select scenes from the PGA TOUR and NFL Films collaboration “Chasing Sunday: Si Woo Kim Unheard.” Later, we updated the PGA TOUR University standings as college teams head toward the postseason and welcomed Texas senior Christiaan Maas to the show. Ranked second in the standings, the South African joined us to talk about the dynamics of balancing team and individual goals while playing for legendary coach John Fields. He also talks about managing a busy schedule with his golf career, classes and balancing his free time to communicate with a fiancée who hasn’t yet moved to the U.S. from South Africa. Finally, Min Woo Lee allowed our cameras to follow him at his practice round prior to the RBC Heritage and then watched it back while providing his own commentary on how he performed.
