    I have always heard amateurs hit the putt on the low side of the break and was told to play more break than what you think is needed. The advice here was opposite

    If I don’t take a line and pick out something close to me I find that I am always aiming too far right. Hard to break the bad habits

    I believed that most amateurs don’t play enough break when putting? And I would rather be short on an uphill putt than have a slippery downhill left if I miss. I wish that I had his ability, but not a good teacher for the average person.
