Video Description
3 wood V’s 2 Iron
Is the long iron dead or does it still have a place in your bag?
What type of player would go for the 2 iron over the fairway wood and what benefits would you see if you opted for one model over the other?
In this #tourtrucktuesday upload I explain the pitfalls and benefits of each club. I deep dive on the low peel cut and explain how to take distance off a fairway wood and explain my alignment, dynamic loft and attack angle are all crucial factors into how each of these clubs perform.
In addition to this video check out the 7 wood:

This video is another reminder that happiness can be found in simple moments of joy and gratitude 😎✌️
love my non-tour psi 2 iron, still play it because i know i can always hit the fairway and it stays low enough so i don't get into too much trouble lol
👍✅🤗✅👍
bring back the p770 2iron …that thumbnail 😍
For the masses it’s def the 3W, most of us don’t have the speed or consistency for a 2I
Thoughts on a heavenwood trottie?
Carry with both clubs for you? I would argue if you can’t hit a 2 iron 250 with run out then it isn’t worth it no matter how good you are.
I'd rather see the 3 H vs the 3 W… ✌️
I've found a nice middle ground with a 5 wood. I now carry a "driving iron" 3 iron loft and 5 wood. Gaps perfectly in my bag.
2i is for only good golfers
P770 2 iron on thumbnail but not available for sale 😢 would love to buy one
Love your work trottie but you have me confused here. Anyone who is good enough to consider having a 2 iron in the bag will have vastly different carry numbers to a 3 wood (there is at least a 25m+ (50yds+) difference between my carry numbers of both clubs). Shouldn't it be 2 iron v 5 wood? While in most cases still not a direct comparison due to trajectory + spin rate, surely that is a closer comparison?
I'm more in a fight between a 2 hybrid and 3 wood. But given the cost of clubs these days, having something adjustable with a plain grip is probably the winner. A good 3W with a lot of adaptability that you understand is probably the best option IMO.
