I play that champions choice myself. Some days I’m sinking a lot of putts some days I suck. But it’s my favorite putter I keep coming back to

I just randomly picked one that I like the name of (Tour Edge Bazooka…$80). Had it cut down and at a fitting it was determined that was my putter. They tweaked the lie a couple of degrees. The fitter asked how I picked it and said pretty randomly, it was the right price, the name is Bazooka (cool names boost a products likelihood of being purchased by me) and available locally. Since the fitting, I have way less three putts due to bad first putt misses. They still happen, just 2 or 3 times a round.

I need an iron fitting…which is going to be an expensive upgrade.

I got fit for the first time in 30 years for a putter this year. It knocked several strokes off my game. It’s the club you use every hole or almost everyone and no one gets fit for it.

There are 2 things that I changed this year that has improved my putting. First was that I went from 35 to a 34. The second is that I changed the way I grip the putter. I went to something close to a two thumbs grip. I overlap my third and pinky finger on the right hand over the index and middle finger of left hand. This keeps my hands together better. With those two changes, my putting stats really improved.

My putting has gone South big time as the summer went on. I have a Charles Barkley yip in my stroke sometimes. Curious what you think of the Putting Board training aid, and others out there.

    Why pendulum the club?
Why not just rock the shoulders and keep the sole of the club flush and parallel to the ground right through the take back and forward movement through the ball.

I started doing side saddle putting. I would like to see you evaluate that style and see what you think,

I went to Scotty Shef claw (<10ft.) with the DF3 and am draining way more putts this year than any other year of my life. You just have to take putting seriously and practice practice practice!!

I had an old teacher whose nickname was 'Dos Guantes' because he wore two gloves. He would say:
:"It's not the putter, it's the putter."

Mr SG struggled forever, usually putting short and right. Currently using Odyssey AI #7. Any ideas for me or advice on what type of putter.

Scotty Cameron, lab putters, are ridiculously overjoyed, overpriced and quite frankly I've tried them, all the guff,it's got this, got that, toe up,torque.. pathetic,if you need ANY of these putters, take up bowling,or knitting,I've got a 6 year old Odyssey white hot,,I'm at least 5/6/7 putts less than most golf partners, putting is felling, and practice nothing else.new shiny shiny at £500 for a PUTTER is a laugh..

    Zero or balanced torque?

Good video, one thing I’ve noticed with the zero torque or lie angle balanced putters is that you should really try and let the putter swing itself and not manipulate the face. That little tip has really improved my putting and I’ve found my dispersion on long putters like 30-40 feet or more is much better as well. Very few people go for putter fittings but if you somewhere good in the area to do so then it would be worth it. It’s literally the club you hit the most and it’s not even close. Over 30 times per round for most.

I would be a putter fitter's worst nightmare. I'm 6 feet tall, but I like a 33" putter with a straight back stroke. I setup directly over the ball with my feet split and most of my weight on my front foot. I like the face balanced type. I used an Odyssey #5, mid-mallet for a bit. Then I hit a Bettinardi SS16. I 100% love the feel and weight of that putter. I also really liked the Ping PLD DS72. I ended up getting the Ping because I found a used one that was like new for a decent price. The feel of the milled face is so nice. I love the look and weight of a smaller mallet. I put the Ping PP60 grip on it. I really like it and I hit it pretty well.

Still using my odyssey sabretooth, but shortened it to 33.5 inches from 35 and put a BJM kotahi grip and that has made a huge difference.

Bought a df3. Worst putter I’ve ever used. Sold it for half I paid and went back to my old oddesy 2 ball. Never seen anyone make the lab work. No speed control, pulling, It’s a temperamental putter

Gaming the Tour Edge Wingman 802, it rolls the ball better than any putter I’ve ever used. I think when know that the ball is going to roll true, you make more putts.

I game 2 putter (summer and winter putters). I use a odyssey OG 2 ball putter for winter/slow greens and a odyssey versa three T for summer/faster greens. I like the feel of them both and find their weight good for different green speeds.

I developed the yips years ago, went to a Scotty broom handle, really got on with it, then heard the rumour ( turned out incorrect) they were being banned, got a Boccieri heavy putter B3-M model, beat my yips and went back to “ ordinary” putters, last was a Mizuno M-craft IV then my putting went off! In desperation after a couple of weeks pulled the Boccieri out and my putting has been nothing short of amazing! I believe Boccieri folded though!
