Coach, when you say: don’t turn it off because you’re young and beautiful. What you’re also saying is: Seniors are old and ugly. 😡 Remember, if you’re fortunate, you’ll be a senior golfer one day. Ask your parents. Oh, and by the way, your children will eventually see you as an old man, usually when they become teenagers. 😂 Cheers.

Yes re the trail foot, and pulling it back, but, the further that you turn your hips, the more it hurts as the hip arthritis kicks in! By all means cock your head, but, sorry Matt, that turn hurts, a lot. I'll tell you, I'm nearly 70, and parallel is a distant dream. Love to get there, but 45° is as much as I can get there, after 56 years playing golf. As for wrists, ouch!!! None of that's exagerration! I get where you're coming from, but what you don't get is the pain that this causes.

Seriously, please get a senior golfer on the channel (does your Dad play?) and actually see how immobile we really are in these days. In reality, for most of us, a lot of what you suggest just can't work, unfortunately! I wish it would, as I'd still like to hit it how I used to, but, in this day and age, 220, downwind, hit square, is all I've got!!!

Natalie Lowe has some great stretching exercises to help with rotation, nothing too strenuous, a-few minutes 2-3 times a week will work wonders, back that up with Coach Lockeys drills happy days

45 degrees of extension at address, is this within 'normal' range (whatever that is)?

Will your tuck it video work with these tips? Looking forward to trying that video along with these tips, I’m also going to try slow to the top of my back swing like Pausing before firing the hips for the downswing

Been doing it for a couple weeks now and it's helped quite a bit.

At 65, with a 20 year old driver my swing was/is slowing. This is giving me back a few yards. And flaring the back door keeps me from swaying back as I take the club back. I've been more consistent.

Love the videos Coach and this one in particular. You lost me a bit regarding the wrist angle at the top of the swing. Can you clarify please?

The simplest way to turn your hips, and hence your shoulders, is to do as Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Phil Mickelson and many others do. Allow the heel of the lead foot ( left for right handlers) to lift in the backswing. This will even help your downswing sequencing if you plant the heel and transfer the weight onto it at the start of the downswing ,before you even think of using your shoulders to take an almighty whack at the ball 😉
