From an American, my apologies for the poor treatment by the American fans. It absolutely infuriates me that they were allowed to get away with it and that nothing was done to settle people down. Congratulations to the European team.

Get to the heart of the matter! That sickening behavior starts from the White house! And is infecting the entire country! Rotten to the core!!!

What's funny is that fans at other tournaments in the USA love Rory.

Until drunk cretins who yell "GET IN THE HOLE!!" get ejected, and polite applause comes back, I'm done with watching professional golf.

The disgraceful conduct at the Ryder Cup was just the last straw.

Yes, Morikawa and English was a questionable pairing.

It's just a bunch of New Yorkers with an overly bloated sense of self-importance, pretty typical behavior from them tbh

I don’t feel that the European teams put individuals or personalities above team needs. In contrast, regarding the American team, there were numerous players, that took place, in the maximum number of games allowed; regardless if their playing type proficiencies or tournament success or lack there of warranted those decisions. People are quick to say that Colin Morakawa and Harris English shouldn’t have been sent back out after they played so poorly, at the first; which is a true statement, but there were others who played as badly or were scheduled, in positions not the most favorable, for success. The American coaching staff need to set up the team and establish scheduling and coupling those players, in positions suitable to win; regardless of PGA status.

When you go to a landfill, you should expect some awful stench. The PGA of America courted this problem because they did nothing to mitigate it. It is an organization run by incompetence.

I'm simply surprised that anyone is surprised about the American "exceptional nationalist" behavior. The genie is out the bottle. Behavior was expected considering the leadership they're following!

This American team was an embarrassment for not stopping the dumbass MAGA’s in the crowd.

Everybody needs to quit denying that…the US players don't give a shit about this Cup…it's like the NBA all-star game or the NFL pro bowl to them…the rich American golfer does not care about this…the Europeans live for this they love to stick it to the US for whatever reason…the Americans could care less…it's a TV show and something for reporters to talk about…that's it…the Americans only care about winning majors end of story

See I’m in disagreement, Europe shows there ass every year. Plus the Ryder cup is overrated. It’s fucking golf. Those players r so good , they should not be rattled by crowd, I know if I was that good, I would not give a fuck. This is a Rory mcilroy backing . Idk how anyone can be on that cucks side.

Social media has brought riches to player but also brought the worst of fans to the game. It's a huge shame and I couldn't even watch the Ryder Cup this year as an American without feeling completely embarrassed for my country rather than proud due to the way the fans in the crowd were.

I agree with Chamblee … and will add that I think some US players – Scheffler in particular – were adversely affected by the ugly behavior of the home crowd.

As for golf "holding itself to a higher standard" … it's a different game than other sports where yelling while during play doesn't distract players.

On a final note, we all know why this year's crowds were extra course … and it's not a NY thing or an algorithm thing.

Perhaps the silver lining is the pampered ranks of elite golf got a glimpse of the anti-foreigner attitudes some Americans feel perfectly comfortable spewing at people right now.

Bethpage should be blacklisted from not just all future Ryder Cup venues, but banned from all future PGA events.

Asinine to say the team doesn't care as much. Can't help you with the fans. I am surprised somebody in the room didn't speak up. EXCUSE ME, A Madison Square Garden crowd at a Ryder Cup may go side ways…Keegan did just fine. Scotty going 0-4 ???? I am sure was not part of the plan. If he wants to sign him up for 2027. Don't over think it and show up. As far as 2029 Goes??? It's at Hazeltine…more of a Canadian Crowd… We know they are always polite.

Can we wake up???? Social media is a huge part of all this. If you have not realized the dividing effect social media is having on society then you are unconscious.

Glad I wasn’t there. USA is deteriorating as a society when chanting FU to a competitor is acceptable. Sad.
