I grew up playing here, coming up from LI. Stayed at the Pines for a few years before my family got a house off of Hole #16 green, from 1996 to 2010. Now I live an hour away down 84. My all-time favorite course no matter how many times it chews me up and spits me out.

putting should be an improvement over 2 man because you cant as easily transfer feels to someone else but the long game might be worse cause of different shot shape the 2nd man may have would help sometimes.
Just started playing maybe 5 months ago, Have about 10 rounds under my belt. Got lucky enough to have a solo round a couple weeks ago and on the back 9 was able to hit 2 times each shot without slowing anyone down. It made a massive difference, at worse got a couple bogeys. Also made a couple birides which I still haven't made a legit one yet, but was 10 shots better on the back 9 with 2 shots than the front 9 playing legit. Got the idea from Frankie's vid a few back when he did it by himself. Great practice someone starting out.
