I’ve always loved Jason Day. That said, there’s no such thing as an illegal pin placement. Unfair? Yes. But the hole can be cut anywhere on the putting surface. The PGA Tour has guidelines, as I’m sure the DP Tour does, but there is no rule regarding pin placement under the USGA or R&A.
what a nice guy, Jasons short game is unshakable and this was a good one as it was also educational thanks to his great attitude. Good one.

C'mon Grant! Look at the videos. On those putts your putter face is looking left of the hole. That's why you are missing left. Also if you swing out to the right with the face looking left you put left spin on the ball. George B does the same thing.

I’ve been racking my brain why your pace control is so poor with your putter Grant since your chipping is very good…it’s the actual speed of your backstroke it’s too brisk…get yourself a metronome to practice with….Jason is a fantastic guy I played pennants against him when he was 17 he beat me 2 and 1 on a 45 degrees Celsius day on his home course The Hills in Beaudesert Australia…I’ve been barracking for him ever since he makes me proud to be an Aussie
