Great concept. This concept is a huge reason why the golf swing is so difficult for most people. The simple theory of where speed comes from in the golf swing is: something loose moves very fast when it reacts to something tense and powerful. In the golf swing the core and lower body move powerfully and with tension, then the arms and wrists react with very little tension and high speeds. These two opposite feelings of powerful tension and effortless looseness happen simultaneously in the golf swing and is counter intuitive for most people. Difficult at first but very rewarding once mastered. Let me know if you agree Paul!

Excellent Paul…Many years ago i followed one of my favourite golfers on the course and what i noticed the most was how relaxed he was, i thought to myself he must be on some sort of relaxant which of course is ridiculous. All his movements were practically in slow motion…The great Bob Shearer was the golfer…

"Stop hitting balls. DO THE DRILL". This is the best lesson in golf in six words. And way less frustrating than banging ball after ball at the range. I know. After getting Paul's course (which you should) I found an old Lag Shot swing trainer in the basement, which I never really could get to work (7-iron, whippy shaft, heavier club head). But I found it IDEAL for really helping to emphasize Paul's practice body swing, given the extra club head and flexible shaft. I would think the Orange Ball would work as well. Any thoughts Paul?
