The language used by the American fans was deplorable at times . But has anyone from abroad ever been to a Rangers v Celtic football game in Glasgow ? Now there is a poisonous toxic febrile atmosphere at a sports match ..Bigotry , racism and all round disgusting shouts , chants and singing , at least 4 times a year ! Yet all authorities turn blind eyes to it all , alongside deaf ears and do and say nothing , whatsoever . At least the yanks acknowledged the horrible situation .

A joint statement should have been made by the ENTIRE US team(players), in front of a microphone, after Friday's play. With Scheffler speaking for them, despite the politics he would have been "violating" doing it. That would have been a class move. Instead, we heard zero from them. No leadership.

No Doubt Payback Will Be Forthcoming..The CEO Of PGA USA Should Hang His Head In Shame And If He's Any Honour..Resign..Europe Will Show It's Class..Again.

I am disappointed, to say the least, in the behavior of the crowds at Bethpage. But…. these European players, who are now acting so virtuous, had better be ready to condemn their European fans when the next Ryder Cup takes place over there somewhere. Does anyone really believe there will not be a similar behavior from them?

It’s the despicable MAGA goons that are the problem. They were never taught at birth how to act, think, behave etc.

Two results from this – 1) Europe won the Ryder Cup 2) USA Fans totally embarrassed themselves and put a massive stain on the courtesy expected for professional golfers.

When it comes to America hosting the Ryder Cup in future it should be held in a another country like Canada of Argentina, because the American pga and the state police are not doing their job controlling the so called American golf fans.

There is no culture of witty fan chants in the USA and when a crowd is encouraged to be “hostile” they have nowhere to go but crude, loud and personal. The fans were like lost kids without a guide. And the only guide was that silly woman who shouted “f*ck you Rory.” I actually don’t blame the US fans, they love the European players and they need education on how to be a fan.

To be blunt they elected an obese old pefophile for their president who shoots his mouth off constantly, cheats at golf, and feels he is above the law. People feel entitled in America to treat people like this.

What a disgrace for the American crowds to have acted like deranged maniacs. This is GOLF, this sport isn't like the others…we should have more respect for the game than to turn it into a WWE Wrestling match. Keegan was in over his head I believe and should not have said what he said. They should not have another Ryder Cup within 200 miles of that venue for quite a while until these lunatics learn their lesson. Reprehensible conduct should not be condoned and hope the next American captain can get that across to the fans in the gallery.
