Torrey Pines North and South will once again play host to the Farmers Insurance Open. A strong field will see Hideki Matsuyama look to continue his exceptional start to the calendar year, after claiming victory at the Sony Open in Hawaii, followed by a top-20 finish at The Sentry. World No.6 Ludvig Åberg returns to Torrey Pines after a top-10 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open last year. Shane Lowry will be making his first PGA TOUR appearance of 2025. At last year’s event, Matthieu Pavon became the first Frenchman to win on the PGA TOUR since 1907 with a one stroke victory over Nicolai Højgaard. Other star names to look out for include Tony Finau, Max Homa, Sahith Theegala and U.S. Ryder Cup captain, Keegan Bradley.

It would be nice to see some of the young guns in this video since they played well. Potgeiter, Pak, Goodwin, Castillo

With Hardy and Gotterup in the field I understand leaving Wes Bryan out, also Coody the powerhouse

The announcers are borderline useless, c’mon their banter is like they don’t even play golf and we are now less smart than before listening. Will mute from here on out.

5 under for Antoine Rozner, not a single shot… Years over years, those highlights continue to be worthless

10 names on the leaderboard at the end and i think you showed shots from 3 of them. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a small team of people on this and make it amazing. I'm a golf sicko and you make it really hard to care with these highlights. Check out the Formula 1 Practice videos, practice is so boring but they put together clips of the cars on track and anything interesting with a voiceover of the STORY of the session. So for today you could start with Ludvig, when did he tee off? was there any easier side of the draw today? Give a synopsis of his standout stats then show 2 or 3 of his BEST shots and explain why they were great. Like a recovery shot from deep rough he manages to get to 20 ft or a hard to access pin that he got closer than most or examples of how he's shaping shots. Then move on to a couple of other players a do a similar thing before maybe a single shot and short blurb on each of the top 10 and a couple of intertwined big moments thrown in. All with context like who each player is, are they a rookie or a major winner? Whos playing better than expected, whos playing worse and looking like they'll struggle to make the cut? Is one of the courses playing easier? Are there any interesting insights into the strategy of the golf course like how certain holes are being played? I could go on!
