Really well done. This provided so much information and the right accolades to Ms Hollins’ vision.

Fantastic video! I was hoping you’d do the 16th at Cypress! I truly think this is the best par 3 ever created. It’s a very rare par 3 in that there is a clear and very logical layup option.

Beautiful. But I’m not sure why I watched a hole I’ll never be able to play. Maybe I’m due for lottery win?

Great history lesson on the course and the hole, very nice! Personally I think they should've kept it a par 4 as I'm not a fan of holes where "going for it" means getting par! The idea of a lay-up par 3 to save bogey is just too punishing in a game that is already very punishing. I think the comparison to the other par 3's proves this given all of those other par 3s easily make-or-break a round and do so being far shorter! It's like Oakmont making a 289 yard Par 3 just because, it feels very much like a lazy design choice. Now the rest of Cypress Point…. amazing!

I would love to see a video where Derek shows us what would his dream course look like if he could build one and where it would be but it can't feature any existing holes
