Considering the weather Gods held off the gales just to inaugurate your qualifying round, you fought hard there! well played, Matt.
Great effort in horrific conditions. Suerb battling back nine. I believe you were one shot off a playoff place at +4 and +3 qualified automatically. Unfortunate flying through the back of that par 3 (4th?) and the double there was a killer blow sadly. Noticed Robinson was +6 and I think Carter was +10? So in comparison your score was pretty solid. Take away the positives from the back nine and better luck next time!

Great effort in those conditions. I'm not sure if it was R&A rules but i was delighted to see the cameraman distant from you during round. You need to give the golf your 100% concentration on a day like that.
Should give you bit of confidence for next year.

I have no idea how you can golf with that 15lb of God knows what you have in your back pocket. 😅 I can't tolerate my wallet in my pocket. Car keys and wallet in the side pocket of my bag. 😂 They have less wind in the Hebrides. Well done.

Gee, how unlucky were you to get a wind like that. That was a gritty effort in the conditions, because nothing's easy when the wind is blasting through at that speed. Really good back nine, which could have even been a couple better with an ounce of luck. What could have been if you'd got a decent day, eh?

Matt, I know your dad looks after your swing, but do you know any coaches that focus on core training? I almost think working with a George Gankis or Sean Foley would help you immensely for a different perspective.

Great putt! Wind has been an issue thus far through the WNY golf season. 3:48 pm tee time for a league. 94° farenheight. First tee time for the league. 17 over. I drank the water, etc, etc, it was too damn hot for me today. I'll play in 45° farenheight weather. I melt, and believe me, I'm not not built from fluff. Two 50 year olds long and lean smoked us tonight in that heat. A week ago it was a two club wind.
