The great thing about putting terrible is it forces you to work on it..

Great video Peter Finch! Thanks for featuring a stunning South African course, which most (99% maybe) of locals will never get to play, and is out of the price range of most.
A few points : In SA we work in meters, not yards. Yet I see you quoting the distance of holes in yards using the distance in meters quoted on the scorecard? How on earth did you club yourself correctly? Guess you relied strictly on your rangefinder set to yards, and had the GPS on the buggy set to yards.
You asked at one point " is this Bermuda grass"? It is actually "cool season Rye"? The greens are Bent Grass.

It is actually one of the most visually stunning courses. I think you need to be "in the zone" and totally oblivious to the scenery to not be distracted!

Were you finding greens in South Africa difficult to read? You seemed to struggle a bit with line in this video and when playing Fancourt.

Thanks for coming to play in South Africa and feature our courses – we look forward to welcoming you back. There are still a lot of really great courses for you to experience, inland as well.

    Enjoy your content a lot,

Pete your glasses don't fit your face mate, they're too narrow 😂 Get yourself to an Oakley store and find a pair the right width so you'll get a larger field of view and more peripheral protection.

Awesome. Haven't been to Africa for too long.
Large tortoise was an african spur thighed. And the things you thought could be marmots were actually rock hyrax, whose closest relative is the elephant. Yeah I'm an nature nerd

27 dollars to play this Course. 675 dollars to play pebble beach. That means you can play this course 25 times or pebble once. I know wich one im playing. Still love pebble tho

If it's any comfort Mr Finch. I would've hit 10 on every hole! What a nemesis of a course! My God!😳😳

"Supera Moras" – you definitely were told that by someone who went to Wynberg Boys' High School. There is no other reasonable explanation for someone to know what that means! Surprisingly the Latin speaking population here, in South Africa, is quite limited.

Glad you desided to play pinnacle point , bucket list golf course a must play ! Leopard creek full of wild animals in area . Take advantage of game drive / walk during the day and game drive at night . You have to stay at pre selected local hotels for at least 3 days to play on course or get invited by member . Dont forget to play at skakuza golf course in area . Here there are no shark nets wild lions roam the course freely , cant play at dusk or dawn too dangerous . if you have the balls play skakuza !

As a 🇿🇦n, I love this content. So many wonderful courses at ridiculously low greenfees compared to Europe/UK/US. Don’t forget the wonderful courses on the Highveld, Lowveld, and Natal.

Personally I find Pinnacle Point exactly the way Pete experienced it… Fantastic scenery, but actually a poorly designed golf course in terms of playability. Each hole has either a crazy elevation change, plays over a cliff, or has fynbos on both sides of the fairway with zero room for error. These are all great features on one or two holes on a course, but here you have 18 crazy holes. Too much in my opinion and no fun for the everyday golfer.

Rather drive 40km and play George Country Club, which is simply magnificent.

Love this Pete, now that you've done the coastal courses, think next year you should do the inlands… Leopard Creek, Sun City, Blair Athol…

Incredible course and I'm only on the 8th. Quick question though – surely on holes like 7, you throw another ball down and sling one in off the sea, right?!
