Did I see you at a breakfast spot in Tampa a few months ago with your clubs ??

The difference in carry distance will grow considerably the faster your swing speed is, i garantee that someone that hits it 320+ will drop 40 yards with that fake driver, right before that head/shaft shatters in 8 pieces and snaps. But then again, so does the taylormade trash so no loss there

Was this just a low key flex video…. Everyone knows the fake crap from Temu and AliE is lame. 'Captain Obvious' here: and today we'll be going on a journey of the most expensive golf stuff I own. Fun

nicely done. Back in the day, I bought a callaway FT something driver knock-off(didn't know it at the time). I took it to a friend of mine and he checked the serial number. It was for a rescue club…to funny

Josh, do you have a twin? This guy did t look or sound like you.
He may be fake but definitely not “Lame”!

The LAB putter should have been the same, that revealer test is good, but when you're putting the putter isn't going to twist around, and you said it felt exactly the same. The driver was a big shock, it sounded just like the genuine one and obviously performed the same.

If you pay close to 300 for a pair of golf shoes you had better be good at golf. Why do 5hese companies keep gouging people's pockets to play this game.

That Taylormade copy is crazy…even has the 2024 Ventus Velocore plus shaft that looks exactly like a real one, down to the matte black finish. I actually like the darker color better. I think TM makes a designer series in all black but it has tiny green accents on the sole if I'm not mistaken.

Could you do an update on how the shoes and the Qi35 last?

I whole heartedly believe the old homage of 'fake Chinese junk' is absolutely out the window and honestly has been for a while. In golf especially, a lot of these training aids, accessories, things that don't necessarily rely on technology are functionally the same. Buying things like golf t's, towels, alignment sticks all from temu etc just makes sense now. Golf is extremely over priced in general and although ethically it's problematic buying from these sources we are essentially being gouged to the absolute max in this industry and i've completely gotten on board with this stuff

I buy all my golf grips from aliexpress. Not gonna pay 3x the price for a piece of rubber. The prices for knockoff clubs just don't make sense though. You can't get fitted for them, so at that point, you might as well just buy used clubs, which is gonna be even cheaper if you buy some older models.

You should play a round and have your friend try a "premium" bag

Ngl, the darkness of the fake Qi35 looks way better imo

I think a great video idea would be to build a bag of knock off “premium” clubs, and have one of your friends unknowingly play with them, see how they do, and then reveal at the end that they’re knock offs.

I bought some midsize grips of AliExpress. I felt the same no difference. Also bought mezz from there. Felt it was the same too. As my real 1 lol

Some legit stainless steel is also magnetic. Otherwise, you can’t use stainless steel pains with induction cooktops.

great video. i get all my golf headcovers, grips, and other accessories like towels, belts, watch bands, speakers, tees, ball markers, training aids, etc. from temu and ali and they are all legit and do the job. its all the exact same stuff amazon has for less than half the price if you are willing to wait a week or so. i got 2 fake scottys from ali and one is not great and the other is legit so not all is equal from the websites as well. but i have never tried to return anything either, so i am scared for more expensive knock offs for that reason.

Should’ve cut the fake Taylormade ball in half to see if it’s a three piece ball how the real one is… that would’ve been nice to see how many layers it had.😏

Find yourself a bit more of an expensive Scotty fake (110-150) and some SM10 wedges and run a test. Those cheap ones are just that, cheap, but the latter, well…you'd be surprised.

Fantastic video, NGL if you're desperate enough to buy fake $12 grips for $4, your time is probably better spent gathering free balls from the rough/water lmao

I bought fake golf pride grips and they are pretty legit. I did notice it if I didn’t play regularly they get dried out and I’d have to get them wet…

Anyone who drops $244 on plastic oakleys is lame lol. It literally costs Oakley $3 to make those glasses.

PS – you should’ve popped the fake head on the real shaft

Ali and temu are great for head covers and towels. I've used the "fake" plus4s and there's nothing wrong with em for the price, if they didn't have the Golf Pride logo on them i'd re grip a whole set with them.

Ali Expres is like a legit business in China its like a Chinese amazon. And just like how there's some booty knock off stuff on amazon there's also that kind of stuff on Ali Express. However Ali Express does sell real items from real vendors so there is a possibility that the grips were exactly the same made by the real company

i started playing early this year and im broke and me and my brother bought the temu set of p790s for about $250 and took a gamble. they're genuinely good clubs in my opinion. our other brother, who's been golfing since about 2017 and is a 2 HCP, likes them and even wanted to look into seeing if they sold clubs individually because he really liked the temu 4 iron.

    good video by the way

Don't pay for Oakley sunglasses. They are owned by Luxotica. Maui Jim's are the only sunglasses you should wear.

The "fake" driver may not be fake at all except that it's not made in a Taylor Made factory. There are stories about how club designs are "shared" among factories in China and how other factories wind up putting out the same clubs but with different names. Here, of course, they're blatantly stealing the Taylor Made name and appearance too. But the club itself may be the same design and the same/similar materials, not just a cheap knock-off made to look like a brand-name product but of much lesser quality.

High handicapper here. I have an Aliexpress Scotty Cameron triple black putter. Since putting is 95% based on the player's skill, I can almost guarantee I'll still make three putts on green using a real Scotty.

I intend to use it until it breaks and keep it for giggles. I'll never put them to second hand market circulation.
