The article I read last week named the factory those are made in and said It was the same factory that makes the Kirkland and a few other mid range balls. Great price for beginner golfers that lose a few balls a round.

It is a two piece golf ball – you should in theory get more distance and less spin. Most people just see a ball and think they are all the same. In reality the construction of a ball does have an impact no matter the brand.
Hitting into a screen is no where close to hitting on a golf course.
They should be compared to other 2 piece market leading balls, such as those from Ttileist, Srixon, Wilson & Taylormade, etc. This is a chalk and cheese comparison. Differnt cover, different number of layers in each ball.
Just buy the Costco Kirkland 3.0.

Should have also done 30-50 yard pitch shots.. that's often where these cheap low spin balls really start to show their deficiencies, is closer to the green. Can't really spin them with chip/pitch shots and need to play more of a bump and run style. You can get solid spin out of them with full wedge shots because there's enough speed to dig into them, but once the speed is down the cover on them has no bite.

Golf balls are produced by a company and print different brands, yet we think they are all different. Amazon makes millions by reselling, not producing anything.
Wilson Profile are $1 a ball and better than Amazon Basics. But then it depends on who sponsors a channel.

you cut the ball and say "it looks close". Looks close to wahtt bruh? and I don't think this ball was made to compete with the very best balls so why compare it to one? compare it to other 2 part construction balls

No surprises here. Performs like most other "supersoft" style balls — lower spin, higher launch, mushy feel. You didn't hit any pitch shots which is the area where the higher priced balls really shine. It could be a good value option for some if the balls are consistent, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are off center/non concentric core issues due to cutting corners in the price slashing process.
