What a crock. It's just like LIV. So why all the crying? No wonder people watch more golf on youtube than TV.

It's totally pathetic. It's worse than any other sport. At least with other big sports like soccer around the world, sure the players get paid stupid money to be playing for big clubs, but those clubs still have to do qualifying for the major trophies and start from scratch every season, also having to do massive international qualification with their national teams for those cups, yet somehow in golf it's all about privileges and exemptions so they are protected from ever falling. Why do the players in golf need to be in a Union or whatever they want to call it, making decision on what happens in the league they play????? They're just players, you don't see soccer players having a say in what they ought to do with the league, do you? Why is it like this in the US with so many of these sports, from the NFL having a players union making decisions on what happens with the league? It's just so weird

How about the lowest 10 percent of the players get 100 percent of the cost to play in tournaments paid for a year. Then the next 10 percent get 80 percent paid and so on. Those top 20 players just get a share of investment.

This is killing the sport. every time the PGA vilifies LIV, they do something even worse. As a long term fan I am so sick of the arrogance and greed of the PGA Tour, I will no longer watch non major events and encourage people to stop supporting the tour.😢

How about, for openers, giving tiger, Rory, Spieth and Thomas zero and putting that money back into the pot for some of the other journeymen types to put it to better use–like making a living

So nobody gets any money straight away, they have to wait between 4-8 years. If LIV offers say $100m over 5 years at $20m a year with the first payment up front I think the players will work out pretty quickly they are getting short changed by the PGA T. The players that are not PGA T loyalists, for use of a better term, will still seriously consider the benefits of switching their alliegiance. I think the money would be better spent by increasing prize money accross the board at all events making it a performance based scheme rather than reward players post mortem.
