Issues: approach play, tee shots and short game 😅

I know you're practicing at the dukes Matt, but wouldn't it have been more helpful going to Bolton lostock and practicing there and it's just up the road from where you live 🤔

Keep a good mindset, but mostly ENJOY, playing golf even in a comp is still a game we play to have fun.

Best of luck Matt, yes have your strategy and practice but try and enjoy the comp and treat it as a learning experience to help with your future comps

Matt you have the game to compete. I like what Peter said and I've recently been doing it as well. STRETCHING before a round not even hitting any shots made a huge improvement in my game. Just going out cold doesn't work if you're trying to reach that next level.

Great information and a smarter approach 👍. When you get off to a good start the first 4 holes, what you are focusing on will fall into place. Best of luck September 2nd

Don't take this the wrong way. I have seen so many PGA Pros over the years try to roll back time, as an example club pros trying their luck in an event. For me I can see no reason to do it. Bravado perhaps. I have no doubt that you will probably be around par but why put yourself through it? Potentially your confidence will take a bashing. They won't be playing this event because it is not in the neck of the woods, but putting yourself up against Paul Hendrickson, James Ruth types I don't think is a good idea for you. Just an opinion
