Video Description

Oh my GOD! This golf lesson cost $500 but oh my it’s worth it! Incredible lesson by Lee Trevino was so eyeopening and will 100% help you to become more consistent at this game that we’ll all love so much! Some of the key messages in the golf lesson from Lee Trevino was crazy, brutal, but so useful. I’m so glad I found this video of his lesson. It was that good I thought I would break it down for you, so you can utilise all of his golf lesson and learn as much as you can from it.

The key points from the lesson are:

1. Everyone has their own unique swing (sounds basic but wait till he demonstrates this)
2. Move the ball back if you’re struggling with contact and don’t aim at anything (don’t aim in golf?! I was confused at this too)
3. Think of the body as a tree trunk (Lee Trevino mainly focuses on the arms / limbs of the tree.. again I am going to break this down for you)
4. Try to hit the inside of the ball at 7 o’clock!!!! – I have never heard this on YouTube before!

OMG This Golf Lesson Easily Costs $500! (so worth it!!)

Thoroughly enjoy your videos. I played competitive golf for 30 plus years. Played to a plus 2. Broke my back and had to quit. One or two rounds for 10 years. Started back in October. It's not like riding a bike. I was a 15 and hated golf. My buddies were killing me. Your vid on impact position got my swing on track. Eyes over right knee at impact. Next round shot 73. Now 64 its even harder but I'm enjoying playing again. Just hit a par 5 in 2. 223 and 4 iron to 15 feet. Thanks Alex.

I love all your videos, but this one really resonates with me. Are you also saying that when you find that ball position, its the correct ball position for all your irons and hybrids?

This explanation may have just given me that aha moment!! Swinging without using my arms and it never felt so fast or effortless. I never knew this feeling. Brilliant

7:58 Well done, Sir Alex! Always love the joy you have sharing awesome tips to truly inspire.
I was just wondering how to apply the same technique with woods? Keep moving slightly back from the lead foot to find the best contact?
Thanks so much from Vancouver Canada!

This is a very interesting concept from a true golf legend I’m certainly going to try this on the range.
Thanks Alex another excellent video that challenges the conventional swing mechanics that doesn’t fit all especially the senior golfer🏌️‍♂️

The only reason to watch this video is to see just how deep the bullshit goes. Has anyone ever met a tree that "wants to rotate?" Did you learn anything from this video? No, because it's crap.

Hi Alex. I hit my irons and my hybrid really good. I struggle with my driver and 3 wood. Can you please help me?

$500 coming your way ⛳😃. Also, on tee shots I always place the Titleist logo at 7 o'clock for the strike point and to encourage the in to out path 👍.

Alot of this is covered in hogans f lessons and in george knudsons book, golf is a never ending re-hash of someone telling what works for them.

Our legs play a massive part in the swing, just seems like more boomer golf voodoo magic tips

I am a senior golfer, 64. I struggled with fat shots forever. I thought moving the ball back would solve the problem. Nope. I am cross dominant. My left eye is dominant. The solution for me was actually to move the ball forward. I position the ball so my left eye is basically over my lowest point which is in front of the ball. A player whose right eye is dominant does the same thing basically, but since its his right eye, the ball is further back.

Kept hurting my back and not making pure contact with the ball anymore ! Tried the Moe Norman swing training program and got worse! Too much thinking for me… Saw the Lee Trevino tip and implemented it with my original motion. Moved my rear leg to allow an inside path and I am now killing the ball at 76 years old… Yes this tip is so simple and worth every dollar of the $500>

I am a 82 year old avid golfer and I have been working Trackman for 2 months. One of my issues was hitting irons and fairway woods BEFORE the low point. Lee Trevino’s $500 tip helped me now consistently hit the low point AFTER the ball. My distances was increased by 1 club. What can I say I am joyous. Thanks Georgie the shot maker!!!

you can also move the ball more forward in your stance and hit it solid if you get your weight going more forward…watch nicklaus and moe norman

Staying with my swing and making simple adjustments ball back right foot slightly back. These are doable for an older golfer.😎

Saw this video and immediately went to my range to hit some. I was able to dial in the center of my face and I have always toe'd most of my shots. This tip was absolutely worth $500!!! Thank you!

Learned my golf in 1973 from Lee’s book . 2025 and still watching his tips. My dear old dad always said you can only swing how your body lets you swing.

Trevino said it best. 'Pressure is having to make a putt for a $500 Nassau when you only have $5 in your pocket.'

Trevino and Mo Norman did the same thing. They hit more range balls than anyone else. They were both self made golfers. No instruction. They dug the game out of the ground. Contact is Key. And the only way you can get that is by honestly hitting thousands of balls. There is no other way.
