In this video, I’ll show you how to create the perfect wrist hinge in your takeaway to build a more consistent, powerful golf swing. ⛳ We’ll break down the set position, the direction of the wrist hinge, and how to maintain grip leverage at setup to generate effortless speed and solid contact.

Most golfers either hinge too early or in the wrong direction, which throws off their swing plane and timing. I’ll demonstrate the simple feels and checkpoints you can use to get your wrist hinge on plane, maintain connection, and improve ball striking instantly.

Whether you’re working on your takeaway mechanics, trying to improve wrist hinge for more consistency, or just want to understand how the pros create lag and power, this lesson will simplify it all for you.

I noticed a little show and tell that expanded on something you've said in many other videos, but I don't know that you've said on video prior to this point. You said the "back" of your left shoulder, and tapped the area of the shoulder you were referring to. I think that little expansion could help a lot of people. I wouldn't be surprised if many people have been doing it with the side of the shoulder, moving the shoulder in the ball and socket joint, and abducting the left arm across the chest while doing it. Bone of the shoulder blade area?

I cannot stress enough how money this "lesson" was for me. I've taken a few FaceTime lessons with Adam and this is one of the main things we have worked on. Thank you Adam! This has transformed my ball striking with every club in the bag.

Hogan believed in the left shoulder driving his swing. Read it in one of the Hogan books. It works great.
