Danny, have you considered using one-length irons? If not, why not? From the wedges to the #3, the clubs are identical in every way (including weight) except loft. Using them would promote consistency in ball positioning, swing, and all the other factors you talk about. I'd like your opinion. Thanks.

I am 71 years old and feel blessed that you come into my home every week. You simplify instructions and make them easy to understand and follow. I’ve implemented so much and now hit the ball straighter and longer. My short game has also improved dramatically. Thank you Danny!

Danny 👍👍 Here is my current situation I hitting the driver straighter and further however irons are not hitting well. Apparently I’m hitting the ball with an open face at impact and I’m told that I have to change the path from outside to in and I need the club to move inside to out.
Also to flatten my swing on the down swing do you have any advice?

Danny i can't find the link to the grip trainer can you send that to me or give me the name of the grip trainer please. Thanks, I have improved my game but going thru the struggles of becoming consistent with my driver and some irons. Love playing just want to gain some more consistency. Guess we all do!!

Danny, really learned a lot from this video about the correct ball placement. Been struggling with hitting my fairway woods and driver correctly. Quick question: Generally what's the correct ball placement for a 4 hybrid?

Thanks for solid Video Danny. Great detail on grip. I run into one problem I seem to always have and that is rolling the right hand over the left just before impact. I struggle with that. I have always had a very weak left hand (strength) so my right hand is really strong in the swing. Maybe out of all your videos you address this in one of them? Thanks for all! Mitch in Cal USA

That’s an interesting comment re ball position as that’s how we were told 40 years or more ago against the more modern way of positioning the ball

This video is excellent for long time golfers who think they are setting up correctly but…… have got lazy – like my good self – great help – tee shots straight and know where to put the ball in my stance for all clubs – thanks 😊

    Thanks for that brilliant video.
Ist my understanding right, that, for the right distance between my feet and the ball (I am talking about the driver), I can simply lay the driver on the ground, touch the ball with the bottom of the driverhead and place my feet at the end of the grip?

Wish i had the patience to create that setup spacing station for every range day….for one thing id feel like a fool in front of the packed range ….all the range goers would be giggling ..especially when i go through all that and dribble half my shots down range …. But i always second guess my setup ..ill hit like 5 beautiful shots then 2 or 3 hook slices when i dont feel any changes in my swing ,then Adjust to correct the hook/slice ,hit 1 or 2 great then suddenly ball starts going in opposite direction …need a lesson to teach me how to spot “my personal faults” i think … then maybe i could use a setup routine this detailed and get the benefits of it . I can see this being essential in teaching g a beginner especially so they know theres one area they do t need to “check “ when/if things start going bad

I may admit that my grip is too hard, as I frequently hit with a closed blade. Even if the blade looks squared at set-up, it comes back closed about 5 degrees. I’ll try to loosen the grip now to see what happens.

Even the teacher's need help once in awhile. No question Danny M shares cookie jar treats. Everyone one can reach in and take out a treat to suit their taste. Interesting in left foot stationery and moving the right foot back in relationship to the club you're about to hit. Jack Grout Jack N's teacher coached Jack in this manner…..decades ago. Great read is "Golf My Way" by Jack. Always enjoy and appreciate Danny M's openness in sharing his expertise.

Great video. I really enjoy your golf tips. I just wonder why I seem to hit my irons better with the ball further back in my stance. Starting with a 60 degree just inside my back foot down to a 7 iron just behind center. Is there something in my swing that would cause that?

Great videos, Danny. All the way from Austria I look at your videos and must say that these are more than helpful compared to others out there and helped me a lot especially with my short distance chipping. Hope to play with you some day!

Danny, when Graham is explaining the distance @ 8:45 you have the benefit of having the X in the Project X shaft to mark each increment, but what if you don't use a Project X shaft ? Is there an actual distance or is it just half steps, quarter steps, etc…
    Thanks!

Just by watching your videos for the last 2months! I’ve already got my handicap down 4shots! Now consistently playing to a 18handicap. Hopefully I’ll get even lower! Thanks Danny

This ball position guide changed my consistency so much! I was struggling with this a lot, especially with the long irons and woods. I have had the best range session since implementing and practicing this system.

I’m new and terrible at golf. I’m happy when I break 100. I’ve been focusing on weight shifts (ex-baseball player and boxer, so I struggle to move weight to my front foot), keeping my back elbow tight, and keeping my head behind the ball. I finally naturally do these but completely ignored my grip. I studied grip and takeaways and went to the range with the best experience I’ve ever had. I was able to pick the direction of my curve and carried the driver over 270 every time. Can’t wait to play again. Thank you Danny
